Still receiving junk mail from them, years on, even though I requested to unsubscribe and cancel. Can't shake em! Grrr!
Its easy enough to cancel online, with just a name and membership number.
I got a tastecard a couple of years ago was a trial, cancelling the trial was an absolute pain in the arse and wouldn’t say it’s worth the faff when there’s Meerkat Meals! Assume they make it difficult to cancel for a reason (poo) No online or simple click of a button method of cancelling when I had mine, had to ring - was sat in queue for a couple of hours then interrogated as to why I was cancelling
there might be a recurring charge set in paypal. check it. like a direct debit thingy.
Hi StiztheMiz: Last time I called the below number but they also have a cancellation form or you can use email also: You can call the Freephone number: If you do not want to renew your membership you should contact us by telephone on 0800 5677 241 or 01484 477 645 at any point within your membership period and no later than 5pm on the working day preceding your renewal date. Or you can use the cancellation form, contact form or email: * https://www.tastecard.co.uk/mytastecard/cancel * http://www.tastecard.co.uk/contact * email@example.com
Thanks OP. Excuse the question but how do you cancel it if you have paid via paypal?
120 days Tastecard for £1 (must cancel before membership expires to avoid paying full price!)
That Virgin wine voucher is bs. They send those with my Amazon deliveries all the time, you still gotta pay another 50 odd to get a case. Its not a bad price for wines but it's not like you can just use the 50 voucher and get some wines for using that alone. Apart from that not a bad deal as it comes with tastecard + as well, and the £5 pizza express voucher is an added bonus.
Got this offer too. Ends 30.06.15
Is there an end date to claim this offer please?
12 months Tastecard membership = £29.99 (£79.99 RRP) using promotion code @ Taste London
I am finding increasing numbers of restaurants no longer exist. Although I have had my monies worth with the standard tastecard. but after reading up on the tastecard+ I would nt bother, you have to pay postage and packaging on the cinema tickets as they will only send by post :/ and not all cinema groups are included.
I bought one at the same price about eight months ago and whilst it's paid for itself I'm finding increasing numbers of listed restaurants are refusing to accept it.
It only sucks that your deal is super cold... I fee for you... here’s some unofficial warmth! (highfive)
I had a taste card for a year, used it a few times and was good for cinema tickets but when lockdown came I couldn't use it on anything really, not even their takeaways. I had problems logging into my account on a few occasions so cancelled. I paid monthly and found it easy to cancel, I just emailed telling them to cancel and they emailed a few days later saying it had been done.
Well if by posting this means it serves as a warning to people, then i am pleased i have posted it <3
Guys, be AWARE VERY AWARE. This company are nothing but thieving scumbags. If you try to cancel they never respond, you speak to someone on the phone and you think its finally cancelled. Then when they still take the money, you call them and they deny any knowledge of the phone call. I even emailed them, they still kept the money. I eventually got my money back through my bank, more luck than judgement. If you get a card from them you WILL regret it.
Cancel the following day while you remember as it will still be valid for the remaining time.
I've wondered why do they bother with that when the restaurant is half empty anyway!
Had one years ago. Turned up at a restaurant and was told it was only valid for telephone bookings. Took my phone out of my pocket and asked "what's your number?" " Hello, I'd like to book a table for in 5 minutes time". "Certainly sir, no problem".
Basic maths would tell you it would be 75% off in total if it worked like that. 😜 Obviously it won't work like that anyway it will be 1 or the other
I get this free through my workplace. Was great last year when they had beefeater on there, but now locally it's Italian or Italian (and I'm no fan of Italian) Probably won't bother renewing my free membership.
Been with them for years, cancel every time the offer runs out, sign up on a new free trial. No issues ever had

The deal I posted is probably better: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/3-months-of-tastecard-for-free-303-cashback-3380600
As much as you can't go wrong for £1 for 3 months there are so many exclusions like not useable at many places on a Fri/Sat night when you want to go out. If you desire to go to prezzo mid week for a pizza then you get your monies worth. Worth looking at the Ts&Cs before deciding. Hard to understand why this goes cold but then again, it is HUKD, and a penny off an item can make something rocket with heat (shock)
Think I need to re-evaluate some of the Deals on this website! If this great deal was voted into - figures, then i can't take what people say seriously anymore! Great deal. Go to prezzo order 2x15quid pizzas. Pay for only 1 15quid pizza. Cancel membership... What's not to love.
Does anyone know if the offer has changed or still includes Beefeater?

Been with tastecard for years, always renews at £29.99 p/y two meals and youve made your money back, love it
Plenty of better, more expensive/diverse places that accept Tastecard compared to Meerkat where I live Not to bash on Meerkat as its practically free Wont be renewing my taste cars at any price over a tenner or so though, not worth it just for something that results in me spending more. To be honest I do think Tastecard is good but only if you love eating out and don’t mind the spend.
Never understood people who use taste card when meerkat meals is taste card and can be had for pittence for 12 month. There is a glitch to get it free at the minute
hotukdeals.com/deals/1-year-meerkat-2-for-1-rewards-meals-and-movies-for-free-3202269 Its powered by taste card
It does save you money and is worth it as not such a limited places as it was when it started, beefeater, vintage and harvester, as well as table table all accept it now. Costco do it cheaper too when getting the deal but don’t know price.
Had a Tastecard for years, usually make the money back after one meal, well worth the money in my opinion
heat.. I too love this card. great for when visiting new places too, we phone and book somewhere that accepts it for tea. well worth the money even when it's full price.
Love this card! Brilliant if you’re in a group or if you head out for food now and again. Worth the offer price even if you use it just once!!
I used to use it in some holiday inns, the discount was 50 % off the bill, savings used to really stack up, over a three day break Sadly they rules keep changing, last time I had to book the meals in advance and certain days where excluded.
In my case, because I'm being paid £3.15 to use it for 2 months ;) Let's see if TCB tracks - it's worked before but they are really poor now, I'm continually having to chase them up!
App, you show it at the place, says at the bottom Powered by Tastecard, the resturants process as a tastecard.
How does it work - do you get a card or is it an app?
Meerkat Meals membership which can cost £1 a year is the same as tastecard, it runs on the tastecard platform. I think it actually says that at the bottom of the screen. "powered by tastecard" Same deals, same restaurants, hence this deal is going to voted cold by me I'm afraid.
Just cancelled a trial I was on as I didn't think it was worth it after getting a Meercat meals membership. I was told that Meercat meals is a franchise of Tastecard which is why they have the same basic list of restaurants. There may be others on Tastecard, but for me it wasn't worth continuing.
Had a free taste card for 3 month, carried it on because of all the other discounts such as £7 vue cinema ticket any day/film/time. It's much more than food now. Unless there is a cheaper way to get the deal, i think this is a great price
