Definitely the cheapest I've seen this new. Having owned this phone for about the last 4 months, paid around £490 from an earlier Three deal last year , I'd say this is about the top end id pay for it. I've had no end of dropped calls (where I can hear other callers, but they can't hear me), I'm thinking it's due to the weak modem switching between 4g and 5g, so trying it with 4g only for a bit and so far has been ok (2 days only) so time will tell.

And battery life is nowhere near anything as good as my OnePlus 8t was.

I love the size though. But it's definitely not as good an all rounder as the OnePlus was. Camera is night and day though, its brilliant.

I'm sure this has been posted on the Pixel forums and that switching from 5G to 4G solves the issue and to turn off adaptive connectivity. Plus it could be a network problem depending on coverage in your area

Anyone got any ideas how the Pixel 8 compares to the S23? I know the S23 is probably a better (premium) phone with regards to specs, but I'm interested to know what I'd gain with the pure Android and AI benefits of the Pixel 8?

I use a Pixel 4 XL and it's a joy to use. Stock android is lovely to use. So simple & clean
