Does anyone know if you can cancel the required SIM and get it refunded (providing you don't use it) but not return the phone when you buy one with Giffgaff?

I think you can - if you close your Giffgaff account, I believe they'll refund any unused credit, so the £10 you added in the purchase. I can't say with any level of certainty though... And there might be some t&c's hidden somewhere. (edited)
