Pursuit of betterAt Carlsberg, the pursuit of better beer is in our DNA. More than 170 years after our founder J.C. Jacobsen mastered the art of brewing great Pilsner, we're still looking for ways to improve our beer. Our perfectly balanced Danish Pilsner is wonderfully crisp and refreshing, with a fuller flavour and a distinctive hop aroma. Worth a try? Probably. J.C. Jacobsen

Unfortunately there's a big push on by the major brewers to force 'sessionable' beers on us (i.e. below 3.5% ABV), whether we want them or not. This is just one example.

Can't imagine why that might be...

Great price for sheer amount of "beer".

This is at a massive 3.4% ABV now and brewed in UK somewhere, good for those who want to session on something super light and with no concern of quality.

Good for washing the car if you don't have a hose pipe

Awful stuff. I was a Carlsberg session drinker at 3.8% but at 3.4% I had to take my last pack back for a refund. I can't agree with your supporting their 'we're still looking for ways to improve our beer' hype OP, because this is certainly not a way; and if people didn't buy it at all then maybe they would return it to the 'drinkable' 3.8%.

So session beer is something you can drink all night?
