    I upgraded from a 8 port 10/100 ethernet network LAN switch hub to this and the speed difference (especially on PS5 downloads) is incredible! It’s changed having to leave my console on overnight. Highly recommended, especially at this price!

    Sorry to be pedantic and correct you, but there is no such thing as a "LAN switch hub".

    A LAN is a Local area network.

    A HUB and a SWITCH might visually appear similar (lots of RJ45 network sockets in a row). They are not the same and work slightly differently.

    Hubs are generally older, slower and dumber devices than switches. Hubs just blast all the data packets to all the connected devices on all ports regardless.

    Switches are much smarter (especially if their managed). They can quickly switch to sending and receiving the data directly to a particular port/IP at a faster speed.

    Got one of these . It needs resetting here and there as the speed goes down on everything to 100mb .
