I mean....even BA in June for many different dates and is just over £400 (and that's with a proper carry on)

Hi, had a look at these dates and the PE prices are cheaper than Econ - but when I put it all through, the price came to just <£1k!!

I'm sure I have seen these before and with proper carry on,or, checked baggage the price goes up a lot

Yes basic fare only includes a small under seat bag, cabin bag is an extra £72 each way.

New York, horrible place, everybody wants a tip.

Agreed, I go for work so it's all covered, but the demand for tips 17 - 20 percent just takes the shine of everything - on top of already expensive prices

How long does it take to get a visa though?

If you’re a UK passport holder an ESTA normally gets approved or denied with 24 - 36 hours.

Just be aware this airline is on their last legs

Why do you say that ? Seen some good reviews on the flights and prices recently.

Has anyone flown with Norse before? How was your experience?

I flew LGW to Miami last month.

Dreamliner aircraft are modern, better than boeing.

Yes you have to pay for luggage, make sure you pay at time of booking and not after or the price will go up.

No online check in so you have to queue but that never hurt nobody.

Some amazing deals on flights to the US - almost like nobody wants to go there anymore!..

The tipping culture is crazy and the US rate is shockingly low but theres still great demand, not as much as before mind you. (edited)

I'm guessing it'll cost a sizeable amount to get a bag in the hold?

only a tiny carry on bag allowed, anything else then the price shoots up..

How big is the carry on? Anything like the Ryanair one or smaller?

    Google flights, whatever next?

Alexa, fly me to New York please (she appreciates good manners)

Do you need to show proof of vaccination?

Also price has gone up by around 20quid.

Where to go for budget accommodation?
    trivster's avatar
If you mean Covid then no, you don't.   There's no such thing as budget accommodation in New York, it's one of the most expensive cities I've ever visited.

What’s the flight time? Couple hours?
    trivster's avatar
    45 minutes
