    If it's any consolation, the soldering iron looks to be uncontrolled and too low a wattage - so its temperature will vary hugely in use. The solder is lead-free, so hard to use and pretty crap anyway. The solder sucker - you're better of with desoldering braid (and you can make your own with screening from coax cables, etc and some solder paste). The soldering gun is underpowered and doesn't seem to have a far more useful cutting attachment. The case will probably crack and fall to bits as the cheap blown ones tend to do. So, you could say that you have dodged the proverbial.
