If you fancy cleaning up on a vacuum deal, you can get an extra £50 off the Dyson V8 cordless* when you enter the MSE Blagged code MSE229 at payment stage of the checkout.

This makes the V8 cordless vacuum cleaner £229.99 delivered – it's normally £329.99, although it is currently on sale for £279.99.

Thier deal price of £229.99 is the cheapest we've seen, although Dyson did discount it to this price in February and late last year.

There are 2,500 available and the deal will run until 11.59pm on Tuesday 9 April, or until all sell out – whichever’s sooner.

You'll get free next day delivery if you order by 9pm (includes weekends), or you can choose a particular delivery day.

    This or a shark?

Can't comment on a shark as never had one. However if you're considering a Dyson I'd spend more and get a far better v11 onwards. You'll notice a massive difference in quality of the clean and battery life.

V6 to V8 are great for people who want a lightweight cleaner and do not have deep carpets.

Had a v6 for 6 years and thought it was good but when you get a v10 onwards you realise it's so poor.

Had a V8 for a couple of weeks, it's a step up from a v6 but nothing wow.

The v11 and v15s are different league. Got a V15 at the moment and the amount of deep down dirt it can lift from the carpet is shocking. This is a carpet that got vacuumed every day with the v6.

The V15 lasts over an hour and can easily do the whole house on one charge once you've done your first initial deep clean and know how to use the different modes. Also the washable filter is really good, I bought another on top and swap them once a month.

This isn't a great deal, the V8 has been £150 or less brand new sealed a few times so I'd personally spend extra on a v11 when a good deal comes up.

    Hope above helps

I ordered this a few days ago and it arrived yesterday - it's working well and a nice refresh over our V7.

Got to agree with the comments. Would go for the refreshed V11 on BLC currently for £263.

I have this model, I use it on a daily basis

We have a Labrador and wooden flooring , so this hoovers the whole of downstairs very reasonably

Max life on a single charge I found is roughly 15 minutes

Pleased with it, would recommend it !!

Do you mean battery life on max setting? Should get around 40 mins on normal setting

This or the Bosch Unlimited 7 which is £192 on ebay?

I'd prefer to get it from Costco for their satisfaction guarantee, V8 is £259.99 and V11 is £369.99. They come with extra attachments too.
