I prefer the trigger design.
I still can't believe I paid £280 for a vacuum cleaner. But for my situation it is a great product. If VAX did a fluffy head tool I would have bought theirs. I tweeted them but no response. I have used a VAX slimvax with the auto trigger and switching to the dyson I didn't even notice it. I promise I'm not a Dyson salesman
It still seems a daft thing for a company with Dyson's reputation for innovative design to do, though. I can't imagine old people would find it particularly easy.
That is true, but the trigger is so light you don't even notice it.
Apart from Sir James' usual crazy premium and short battery life on turbo boost, the really off putting thing on the Dysons for me is you have to keep your thumb on the power button when using it. Or did I dream that? (embarrassed)
