Great prices for 2 good cordless cleaners. Use code POST15

I prefer the trigger design.

I still can't believe I paid £280 for a vacuum cleaner. But for my situation it is a great product. If VAX did a fluffy head tool I would have bought theirs. I tweeted them but no response. I have used a VAX slimvax with the auto trigger and switching to the dyson I didn't even notice it. I promise I'm not a Dyson salesman

It still seems a daft thing for a company with Dyson's reputation for innovative design to do, though. I can't imagine old people would find it particularly easy.

That is true, but the trigger is so light you don't even notice it.

Apart from Sir James' usual crazy premium and short battery life on turbo boost, the really off putting thing on the Dysons for me is you have to keep your thumb on the power button when using it. Or did I dream that? (embarrassed)

Dyson V8 fluffy + pouch - and cordless hand vacuum (incl. 2 electric brushes Flexi floor saw nozzle with nickel-cobalt-aluminium battery, wall mount, and charger)

Is that the best one to get?

What’s warranty on this

Oh ok is that’s what it’s called

Remember the wall wart charger will be the Euro version so will need an adapter making it stick out a lot further than normal.

The powered brush is fluffy. For tiled or wooden floors.

Large retailer located in East London. I would think so. Dealt with them before, no issues.

Yes in my rush to post i hadn't noticed it as refurbished and quickly edited after so for new would be a better deal as i think next cheapest around £299 for new with 2 year warrenty. Soooo this is not really much of a deal and would of been better not posted :D

I think this is a "normal" price. Have been watching the refurbs for a couple of weeks waiting for it to drop down further. No luck yet

Yep.......Rubbish 😩

Held out for diddly squat :(

Kind of jealous I didn't buy one. Still waiting out for cheaper ....

Selected the free delivery option (3-5 working days) but received it today! Next day and on a Saturday! Thanks OP and crazy good from ebuyer :)

This is cheaper than the refurb deal, its brand new and comes with a 2 year warranty, no definitely not a good deal (y)

Plus quidco cash back making the total less than £299. Ebuyer offers £299, however , out of stock. I would be shocked if the price went down further.

Fair point. I was really keen on those 2 tools so easy decision for me at £313. Agreed about price match but I wasn't concerned about having next day and would be surprised if price went down any more.

missed out! :( Waiting for cyber monday. fingers crossed. I would love a V10

You could have got a price match from Dyson, which would have got you free next day delivery, and a refund if the price drops lower. It's also worth checking the tools, as you lose one tool (Quick-release mini soft dusting brush) with the total version and gain two different ones (Quicky-release up-top adapter, Quick-release flexi crevice tool) There are places still doing the Absolute for £299.

I managed to pick up the V8 total clean this way. On Dyson website the V8 Absolute and V8 Absolute Pro were £314. I was just about to purchase the V8 Absolute Pro and then realised the 10% of code for Currys meant I could get the next model up for less 😁

Low price for this Dyson vacuum

299.99 at ebuyer, I have just ordered one

Nothing at the moment. We are fools to ourselves. I purchased a steam iron for £32 and now due to all the 5 star reviews its £64 only one year and eleven months later. Same with these Dyson's, price stays inflated due to all the feedback.

Beats dysons own bf deals.

Not a bad price at all op. (y)

Any ideas if there will be any good deals on these on Friday? I’m after one myself but haven’t seen much with the deals so far.

Thinking about getting the v8 absolute. More so for wooden floors and to run up the stairs more frequently because of pet hair Labrador. this was a cracking price, wish I had seen it. Seems you can get it between £325-349. the question is would it be daft putting £349 on a CC for the v8, when the v10 is only a margin £100ish more. Is it really all that much better?

Ahhhh, yes I misunderstood. That's a good idea. Dyson are like iPhone... They keep value and can be sold at a good price. Apologies

Could be, but to me it speaks more of either a cost cutting exercise or a lack of confidence in the build quality of their newer products which do have a reputation for being less robustly made than their older designs. Or more likely a bit of both. Still this is a good price for the V8 absolute so have some heat LoveDeal23. :)

No you misunderstood, that’s exactly what I do, I’ve just bought the V10 Total Clean. I’ll keep it two years then sell it on and buy the V12 or whatever they’re up to (y)

I’m in the market for a new cordless, have the V6 absolute but really want the V10. However I’ve had to vote cold as this is the new price for the V8 absolute, it’s the same price everywhere give or take a tenner and even Dyson theselves sell it for £350. Leeks have it for £339 and they often have discount codes, John Lewis give a 2yr warranty for £349 so this is actually a cold deal sorry OP :(

Thanks for explaining that delboyd, I kind of just assumed I did something wrong in posting it somehow, used a wrong link or something! Maybe someone actually looking for a Dyson can at least benefit from the deal, cold or not :P

Absolutely fantastic price, but you'll get voted cold because people hate paying the extra for quality products. I guess we can expect these prices to drop with the V10 out in the wild.

Having bought the Vax Blade 32v Ultra a few weeks ago for about £150 less than this I seen no reason to pay the ridiculous Dyson prices. This is however a deal if you really want this model.

There are a lot more differences between the V8 and V6 than what you mentioned. I would definitely pay the extra for the V8.

I own the V8 animal. It's a great machine. It's has the motorised direct drive head but not the motorised head for wooden floors, which I feel I didn't need. Anyway, what was I here for?.... After doing a bit of research, I was surprised to learn that the V6 machines and V8 machines have exactly the same power on normal power mode (the mode you'd be using the most): 28 air watts! It is only when you get to using max power mode, which runs the battery down a lot faster that you see a difference. 100 air watts for the V6 and 115 air watts for the V8. The V7 has less than both on normal mode with only 21 air watts! If you look into the specifications on the Dyson website, you'll see it's true. The only advantage the V8 has over the V6 if both have motorised heads is the small increase on max power mode of 15 air watts (again, both have the same power on normal mode), the easy emptying bin on the V8 (which admittedly is a lot less hassle), and possibly slightly longer battery life. I must admit that considering the V8 versions of the machines are way more expensive, that I was disappointed that at least on normal power mode there is no difference between the 2 motor versions. I'm not sure paying the considerably increased sum is worth the extra tools which can be bought cheaply on eBay and the like anyway. You takes your choice I guess. Hope this helps someone.

That's exactly what I've just done :D Been watching the prices of the Absolute and the Total Clean V8 for nearly 2 months and have not seen it cheaper. There are so many models and accessory combinations in the Dyson range that it can be very confusing, so I can understand why people would vote cold if not fully informed. I don't think Dyson do them selves any favours. Thanks to the OP for posting this, cold or not!

Suspect you are right. Still a fantastic machine at this price though. I went for the Total Clean at £309.99 in order to get the extra tools and tool bag. I know it was £279.99 just before Chistmas but that was then and this is now.

Thanks for posting about this deal. The current price is £299.97. As I was out shopping in John Lewis I got them to price match it. So I’m a happy bunny who now has no excuse not to vacuum my house 🙄.

Very good deal & if you subscribe to which? Trial for £1 you get a £15 off voucher so works out even more cheaper I just brought one today cost me £279.95 with delivery so you can’t go wrong

I have the V6 and the drum is even smaller on that.

i thought this machine would be a bit of a con but it is easier + quicker to vacuum and its so light I'm not the only person in the house who can do it at long last! only annoyance is the drum fills up so fast

"as have others" - 6% of 26,022 is 961 not 1. I was sucked in by a good price only to be constantly dicked about - cancelled delivery dates, wrong colour fridge freezer, only to have to wait until the wrong colour FF was returned to them by their distribution company so that they can ensure they have the goods before refunding my money. A total ball ache. I'm not disagreeing that the price is good, but in my opinion the discount is not worth the potential stress and delays of choosing to deal with this company.
