About this item
  • [Twin Turbine Technology] Twin-Turbine Technology: Each turbine offers 2000 Pa of suction power, increasing overall airflow by 80% so your house can go back to looking its best. Clean up to 57.6%* more pet hair with the immense power of the Twin Turbines. *When compared to RoboVac 30C.
  • [AI.Map 2.0 Technology] Guided by automatically-generated, multi-floor maps, RoboVac will know where to clean, whether it's on the first floor, in the basement, or in the attic. Customize cleaning areas, no-go zones, and more via the app.
  • [UltraPack Dust-Compression] The sheer force at which the dust is sucked in will tightly pack the dust box, increasing volume utilization rate by 127% and decreasing the number of trips you need to take to empty it.
  • Note: Make sure you are using a 2.4GHz router or a dual-band router that is configured to support a 2.4GHz frequency band. RoboVac does not support 5GHz frequency band

Couple of observations on this having owned one basically since release. It picks up a lot of stuff, we have a springer spaniel who seems to replace all his hair basically daily and I really can't argue with the amount of it that is picked up and all of the below is with this in mind. Also of note, these aren't necessarily Eufy specific issues, they probably apply to other robovacs, I have the hybrid version with the mop which is largely useless and actually causes a number of issues that I won't go into here..

Standard Lidar issues with mirrors, if the device gets stuck it'll sometimes get confused and reasonably randomly rewrite the map. I probably "remap" the whole house about once a quarter.

The multifloor mapping only really works if you have a second base station.

No go areas are reasonably well respected

Gets stuck a lot as it has no way really of knowing if and what it has hit. If your floors are spotless and you pick things up when they're on the floor (shoes seem to be the main culprit) then there are no issues.

Don't expect it to consistently go over thresholds, our living room has one within "limits" and it'll get up there maybe 1/10 of the time and generally then seems to lose track of where it is.

Support, during the first few months of ownership there were fairly regular updates, since then there has been nothing, it feels a bit like the device is now "end of life".

Tangles, whilst I acknowledge there is lots of hair in our house, I do have to detangle the brush every couple of weeks, so one to be aware of. The included tool does work reasonably well.

For the money, I'd say it's hot but I would probably spend the extra and get either a current generation or (more likely) one with a camera for object detection unless you keep your floors spotless.

I payed 280 for this model over Xmas and I'm really happy with it, as a dad with a 1 year old who doesn't get to clean up as much as I'd like it's a great help, obviously not quite as good as doing it yourself with a proper hoover but I was pleasantly surprised about how powerful it is

Had ours since they first came out (19 months+) and recommend it. Picks up pet hair really well and is built to be durable so should last. Only downside is it is too tall to get under the kitchen cupboard overhangs where the crumbs lurk.

    This is decent

Interesting that the similar Lubluelu ebay deals for less than half the price have been removed. I went for that, £120 seems worth the try

Do we reckon this one is worth the extra £30 given the self emptying station?
