I've got one, only ever charged it up once in house via USB, its lasted all winter so far on its solar panel / battery combo. The two s330 eufy cameras I have on the other hand. I'm bringing them in once a week to charge. Perfectly happy with mine. (edited)

    Terrible product.

    easily the worst they do.

pir sensor that controls the light doesn’t factor in any activity zones so will go off if something triggers it, even if it’s out of the activity zone.

    drains the battery.

I went through 4 kept emailing support thinking surley they most be broken and they are not built to have a 2 hour battery life after they sent me out another 2 yep they are just trash.

I’ve got two of these in the NW England and they work pretty well, during miserable weeks you may find yourself charging them in the winter but it’s quite rare and expected with the British winters.

In the summer I’ve had no problems with two.

I have a range of other eufy too, the door cam and 3x other battery cameras and all work well with the home base. I charge each maybe once every three months, exception being maybe the door cam every two months.

If your charging more than this you’ve put them in busy areas, probably where battery powered devices aren’t suitable as your basically recording all the time….

Personally I’ve had zero problems, highly recommended and most of mine were bought from HuKD too lol

Does this record to the eufy homebase 2/3?

During set up it asks if you are connecting to a Homebase or wireless network - but suppport for this device isn’t live yet. According to Eufy’s site it is coming early 2024 but still in testing. (edited)

Junk. Most reviews are from free products.

It's interesting how all Argos Free Product reviews are 5 stars isn't it.

Good news! Your item is available!
Some store about 500 lightyears away.

    Sometimes I just hate Argos!

I like the look of this, especially if the solar charge is good. I'm looking to have this on the first floor externally and right next to our bedroom window. Will this be a pain with the light coming into the bedroom at only 300lm?
We have a Google door bell which will be directly below this on the first floor - with the eufy see a further distance?

Judging by how long the cheaper versions of these last, in the Great British weather, I'd suggest you'd be throwing your money down the drain.

These are the worst Eufy products I ever brought, NEVER BUY. Battery life is like 2 hours solar is awful. I love all my other eufy cams but these are one of the worst products I ever used

Someone commented on here saying they charged it once with USB and it’s lasted ages?
  15. blizeH's avatar
To the people saying the battery life is terrible, do you live on busy streets with lots of things triggering it? For us it’d likely just be us a few times a day and any delivery people, so hoping it’d last longer

The issue is that the light drains the battery and you can’t control the light (either off or on). so things within the pir range will set off the light.

i have loads of their other battery/solar cameras and they’re fine in the exact same area. This product is just absolute trash.

Got 2 of these, 1 in the back garden and 1 down the side of the house.

Battery life is great, charged them to full with USB and only had to charge the one down the side of the house in winter.

Light is great, only stays on for the duration that motion is triggered.

Dont see what the issue is? People obviously using them in the wrong places

This has local storage, right? I've never understood the point of a 'security' camera which contains its footage.
