It does not appear to like being mounted high up either, as you loose range of picture in the zoom
No cameras last for ever with the solar panel. It depends how many trigger events. If you are gardening, or unloading the car backwards and forwards you will seriously run the battery down. So you will have to manually recharge it at some point.
It also needs mounting out of reach, as someone can unscrew it and steal it!
Having said all that it looks a great bit of kit and I am trying to find an excuse to buy one. As it is no good on a chimney , I think I am better off with my separate cameras.
If a black Friday event reduces it further I might be tempted. (edited)
I disabled app notification on android to avoid spamming event when the cats are washing, etc. and the app won't stop nagging me to enable notifications
I have 3 of their 1440p cameras and they often miss events (either miss them entirely or you can tell the video clip sometimes has blip of a few seconds when triggered, meaning I don't see what cat enter/left the house)
Not a fan of eufy at all.
