I really liked both seasons and agree it's the best modern star trek and by some distance

Picard Season 3 is also £6.99

Had you been unfortunate enough to endure either season 1 or 2 you might wonder why I bother to say this. However, Picard season 3 ( aka TNG season 8 ) is so good saying anything else here will not do it justice. Just, if you love old TNG you will love it.

I agree, Picard season 3 is brilliant after a lacklustre season 1&2.

Anyone into Star Trek should go watch it, it’s binge worthy.

Would love to hear with my usual “the same deal is on iTunes” comment. But (a) it’s not, and (b) unlike Amazon, iTunes still hasn’t figured out how to sell TV shows in UHD for some godforsaken reason.

Worth it for the Lower Decks crossover alone

I so agree. Personally, I knew nothing about the cartoon one but absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed this episode!

For me, this show is much more like Star Trek of old, character driven, while playing with science fiction ideas and concepts. I think with fewer episodes to play with than say TNG, ones that don't work stand out more (like the musical episode, which was close to jumping the shark for me), but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it, and with hopefully more seasons under the belt, and further character development, just perhaps we can have a new Star Trek show that can sit amongst the others fondly.

Yes, true but novel and experimental; much like the OS.

Not clear what 4K UHD is

    Is it:

    4K
    4K DV
    4K HDR

Hmmm...good question. I know that they didn't use to support DV (unlike Apple iTunes), but don't know if that is still true. I believe they do support HDR and possibly HDR10+. I've searched around but I can't find a definitive statement anywhere so don't take my word for it.

Friend got Picard season 3, that’s in hdr10+

on SNW when you hover over in a browser it just says UHD

wonder if you can get refunds if it’s 4k only

I abandoned ship after the start of the singing episode. Didn’t like cartoons either. Shame, was enjoying till then.
