About this deal

Ok, so this is my first ever post and I hope it benefits someone.

Basically I've been wanting the Garmin epix for a while but cannot bring myself to spend over £700. Just by chance Ernest Jones had it on offer, and as a long shot, I tried the BLC 20% discount (even though it''s only supposed to work on full-price) and to my delight it worked.

Cheapest deal of all time for this watch for those who have BLC or can get their hands on a code.

    Great price if you can get it. Although would get one of the bigger sizes if you intended to get much use out of the preloaded maps they have.

    Me and baby wrists can't handle the 47mm/51mm and it's typical that the 42mm is the last to be available at this kinda price, the other sizes have done the rounds

    The Epix Pro is undoubtedly a great watch and I love my 51 model but the differences between the original Gen 2 and the Pro are so marginal that I would probably go for the original Gen 2 if you can pick one up cheap e.g. the on/off H Samuel deal at £375. The flashlight on the Pro is nice, but not essential and I haven't noticed any real world improvements on the GPS or HR monitoring. Most, if not all, of the software improvements have trickled down to Epix 2 by now.

    Obviously if really want/need the 42 (thin wrists) or 51 (for the mapping) then my logic won't really apply.

    Does this include the heart rate strap for chest? I believe they are included with sapphire versions?

    I never received a strap for my sapphire Solar Fenix 7X. Or my Fenix 5 before that.

    The code was from my BLC account, each person will need to generate their own code from their own (or someone else's) account. I added it just to show it was a BLC code
