    Worked for me thanks OP.

    For those that are struggling to add to your basket.

    If you are on a PC you can do this:

    Create your sony account first and login.
    in chrome
    right click inspect element, click the network tab, click the no throtting selection and hit slow 3g.
    Then click get deal and it will slowly load the page allowing you to add to basket. Turn off the throtting after you have added to your basket

    Good ideal holding off on Refurbs in my option. The recent refurbs I got and returned were like this, with 2 defects on one earcup...

    Are you sure these are refurbs? Coming up at that price regardless - no mention of refurb. If so, this is an absolute steal!

    Came up the same for me. No mention about being refurbished. Ordered. again, but now £20 cheaper!

    Sent my last pair back to Sony very recently, £209 refurbs, as they had defects with how the ear cups were fitted to the headphone on one side. Let's hope Sony don't send the same ones back to me!

    I also tried £189 refurbs of Sennheiser Momentum 4's, however they have a design flaw with the On-head detection (which can pause/play remove from head/pit back on), basically it doesn't work at all, so regretebly sending those back soon.
    It also impacted the gesture touch controls as well, sometimes causing problems in stopping it working entirely until you faff around in the settings to turn touch controls off and back on. So I can see a whole heap of aggravation in the future, whether refurbs or brand new! Shame because they had an exciting sound signature, and great soundstage.
    Apparently it's a known bug according the many on Reddit (within the RH earcup's infrared sensor).

    Seems like a bit of a going round in circles process at times, finding the right headphones (edited)

    I managed to buy at £189, if this turns up brand new it will be a good deal! Just have to be fast enough to add to cart before the page errors out

    It's a lot easier doing it on your phone. Make sure you sign up first otherwise it's £209. Looking at the SKU, it's almost definitely a refurb due to the 'A' at the end of it.
    WH1000XM5B.CE7.A rather than
    WH1000XM5B.CE7.

    Hoping Sony will just chuck a new one in due to the number of people buying it. More likely they'll just cancel the order.

    52306215-tcbAl.jpgI managed to just get one for £189...I had to load the link loads of times and try to click on the "Add to Basket" button before the page failed...on my last attempt, it worked and transferred me to my basket. It still may be working but it takes timing to add to basket.

    Had the refurbished £209 ones in the basket (posted by someone the other day) and those clearly stated "refurbished" at checkout, these come as new.

    Tip; if the link is broken, try to keep clicking on hukd link to open a new page and aim for the add to basket button. As soon as these are added, you can check out and purchase.

    I just bought replacements for mine of amazon and they look as new now. Nothing still beats those for portability and travel. Even over my Bose.

    They seem to have caught the error pretty fast, let's hope they honor the order to the few lucky ones.

    Looking for XM4s and XM5s I've noticed that the website seems to be playing up over the last few days. So worth keeping an eye on it and perhaps they come back in stock at 189.

    Ok got it for £189. I've figured it out, you need to login to see £189. If you're not you'll see £209. And ya have lightning fingers to add to basket but can be done.

    Thanks OP. Followed the advice to be really bloody quick to click the link once signed in. Also got 5% off with Blue light card making it £179. Cex are giving £175 cash if I decide down the line that I'm not using them much, which kinda happened with my xm3's but this was too good an offer to try!
