About this deal

£140, but with voucher code for 15% off and free delivery if it's your first order.

Seems a decent deal for a tow bar mounted rack. You'll struggle to find a second hand rack for the same price.

Interested in one of these, but what sets apart a good quality one versus a bad quality one?

If the bikes are still there when you finish driving!

Just had a look at the Thule one and for two bikes it's max is 60kg, this one holds three bikes but max is 45kg which is pretty significant really. (edited)

Unfortunately the code doesn't work if you've ordered from them before, but B&Q do the same thing for £135 (to order, not in stock).

Better pictures on b&q £135 the tow bar mount is actually lockable, it looked a bit xrap compared to my buzzrack e-scorpion , if you have decent bikes I’d pay the triple the money

Lol, my bikes are all cheapies - even the electric was only £300. Obviously they're not the lightest of bikes and I won't be able to carry three on this rack, probably just the heaviest one. The other two will go on the roof as always (many of the roof-bar ones I've seen also have a weight limit of around 15Kg per bike, so on par with this but this has a 45Kg total limit so should be fine for a single electric bike).

If you're quick, you can get a brand new one from ebay for around £101.24

Use voucher code FLASHSALES25 which I believe expires tonight

I bought this a year ago, one of the wheel holders pulled away from the frame as the cheap plastic simply fractured. Minimal attachment to the frame with a very small area to retain the wheel, bound to fail one day..

I contacted HOMCOM in the UK for a replacement wheel holder only to be told they do not sell any spares.

Buy a secondhand Thule rack, plenty on market place. AVOID at all cost due to the Mickey mouse design!
