Is the above from the same review site as it has good picture and sound quality as both pros and cons.

I have this tv at 55" as a bedroom tv. it's fine for that. As a living room tv it's never going to compete with my Samsung QN94 or Sony 9005 but they were more than twice the price. With tv's you really do get what you pay for.

There is nothing wrong with the picture quality for HD channels or online content. SD programmes are ok. I find the sound just fine and am using a cheap pair of over the ear headphones, £20 from B & M.

The only thing which lets the tv down is LG should have invested a little more and given it more RAM or quicker processor as the tv guide takes too long too populate, as is the case with many tv's at this level and the text on screen is far too small, certainly at 55". Both my Samsung and Sony are much bigger on the tv guide and settings screen. The apps / home screen on this tv are fine.

Personally I may be reluctant in going this size on a lower end brand, depending on your viewing content, as any imperfection in the screen quality may be enhanced with a larger screen. It should be fine thought for online viewing and gaming and is a lot of tv for the money.

I am pleased I bought my 55" model of this tv.

I opted for the 50" Sony Bravia then this comes up.

    No regrets though
