Does anyone know whether you lose efficiency as air fryers get bigger? I had assumed that the cost effectiveness vs a regular oven boils down to more effective space heating and a stronger, more focussed airflow both of which presumably suffer the larger you go. Presumably (again) this is going to be more efficient than a regular oven but I wondered if I’m more likely to be only occasionally doing big jobs whether I’m better off getting something smaller which is maybe (unsure) more efficient for those jobs and just using the oven on the occasional larger job.

Efficiency in air fryers is more to do with what you cook not the volume of the cooker, if we were to put ONE chip/french fry in this oven or a smaller air fryer both would cook the chip but it would be an inefficient use of either oven
From my experience this air fryer is no different to smaller air fryers in that heats up very quickly (a few minutes) and is very controlled at maintaining temperature, but for me this oven has the added advantage of a useable capacity of ~25L as opposed to 6-10L for standard. If the smaller air fryers work for you that’s great but I’m happy with this one especially as a rotisserie chicken (1.5kg) takes about 40mins and is really juicy with a crispy skin….

I bought this a year ago (full price sadly….) and use it most days and so far haven’t had any issues. I use the rotisserie attachment for chicken (1.5kg max) but using the rotisserie means you can’t use the space for anything else. The only downside for me is the timer that max’s out at 1.30 mins so slow cooking meat for instance (3-4hrs) means you have to keep checking and resetting it

I have an 11L one that does 1.2KG chickens, but it has become useless because I cannot find small chickens anymore, nothing fits in it :/ But when I could still find them..... It makes the best chicken.
HOWEVER! I found these things cook very unevenly if you're just using the shelves, I mean like worse than anything else.
