Use the mx570 at work after getting pains in hand.
Brilliant device, although it takes time to adapt.
Cleaning it is also a pain (like an old ball mouse).

Not for gaming or precision work (like art), but really good for office environments.

Agreed. No wrist pain at all since switching to one of these for work.

Marmite mouse. I have one and love it the rest of the family hate it. Ball does need a clean now and again.

Trackball stopped working in a couple of months but Amazon took it back for a full refund

Same happened to mine but after a few months. Amazon replaced for me and the same happened again. It was only then I realised it simply needed cleaning! The ball gathers dirt from skin oils from your thumb and then deposits it on the sensors inside the mouse. The ball pops out easy and you can easily clean out the cavity and problem resolved, as good as new.

I got this . I use the kensington track balls for years now . Firstly having the ball on the left instead of centre is very very weird. Secondly this unit feels like it made out of parts from a kinderegg. Very lightweight and plasticky. Ball feels a little small to me. Not sure if i can get used to thumb moving . Id recommend either the big kensignton or the smaller orbit unit . They have scroll rings, trully ambidextrous, way better build quality and are just a much nicer experience. If you are thinking of converting from a mouse then don’t base your decision purely on this device.

that being said, this decice will suit living room pc fine as its wirelss (and bluetooth) and will work great without a mouse mat/space (edited)
