Is this better than the MX Keys?

Complete personal preference, no difference in features apart from the lighting options. The mechanical keys ‘press’ more and it’s louder for sure.

Very good keyboard. Automatically lights up the keys when you type. Switches the lights off again when not in use. Battery life is good, with a USB type C type charge port. Key noise on the quieter side, brown switches. Haven't had any mech keyboards, so can't say how it compares.

    Freezing.

I appreciate that people like to play it safe and buy brands they've heard of, but as far as mechanical keyboards go this is a rip off in every way.

Just buy a cheap Keychron mech if you want mechanical. You get better build quality, better key caps, the switches are actually lubed by default, it's easy to repair, and you can even replace the switches if you don't like how they feel.

Logi seem to love making their products hard to repair or maintain, so that you buy a new one every 2-3 years.

Good point, I always by logi stuff now because of the mice I have works seamlessly.. did see a cherry keyboard that took my fancy… but you are right… probably keychrons are better value

Decent price for this full sized one but where on earth is the deal on the mini flip sakes

Personally, I think it’s a good price for a full size mx mech uk layout

I use the standard mx keys but want to upgrade to mech. Paid about the same for the standard mx 🤷‍♂️

    Personal preference really

The mx keys is great… always fancied a mech keyboard

Am I right that clicks and linear are not available in British layout? If so how does this tactile quiet key version compare to other mech keyboards?

don't bother with something like this, go with a keychron. if you are paying this much money and the keyboard doesn't have QMK / VIA support then you are getting robbed imo.

I really do like the keychron wireless keyboards, but for me I feel the mx mechanical is a better overall package. Logitechs software for this is second to none imo, including its easy software to switch between different computers so fluidly at the touch of a button. That, and that it also pairs your mx master mouse with the same logibolt usb receiver on both devices and provides very powerful user friendly software features are game changing to me.

This is a great keyboard, have been using it for a year now and love it. I do wish it came with two sets of keys like others do, rather than putting both Mac and pc symbols on the keys. It's a small detail but one which would make it perfect.

works perfectly but wish it didnt have mac shortcuts
