Yes we need police, fire service and ambulance, but also need cleaners and porters in hospitals, care staff who wash and shower people for minimum wage. On the face of it its a nice gesture but emergency services...... are paid a decent salary and have fantastic pensions unlike care assistants in nursing homes, school cleaners, school and hospital catering staff. The gesture is nice but its a PR stunt

What a strange response to a benefit for people….. do additional research, Morrisons actually do huge amounts for their local communities throughout the year, free kids meals, free crumpets etc

    Well done Morrisons… nice gesture.
Our emergency services are there for us 24 hours a day so a nice breakfast can go a long way.
Just hope some of them get a chance to take advantage of it.

"On Duty" emergency services won't have enough time to go in a sit down for a full English. The thought was there but sadly won't be used.

Not true. I often see on duty police officers in my local morrisons picking up something to eat on the go. Morrisons do takeaway breakfasts. (edited)

Emergency services have blue light card, the rest of the staff would benefit more from this deal.

Morrisons have not accepted the blue light card for about 2 years now.

Not even worth buying @ 50% off most of it is made off site and microwaved not fit for human consumption.

I personally find my local Morrisons cafe breakfast to be fresh and enjoyable. Maybe its your local branch?

Morrisons don't even treat their own employees well, this is just a PR stunt, sorry to say it.

What if it's inconvenient to go to Tesco but super convenient to go to Morrisons?

its only £2 for a takeaway roll and sausage or bacon from the hot food machine in them anyway. so more like a 50p saving, than 50%
