I agree on the colours, I personally don't find it that slow to navigate. The pinkish tone I find really annoying. SD video looks poor, HD not too bad, 4K YouTube looks good to me but colours need tuning. But out of the box the picture could be much better tuned. You'll never get better for £120. You are in 720p territory there.

I didn’t to manage to find any in stock no(fierce) cheers for the link

I meant, did you get the other TV that appeared just after this expired :D

VA panel?

I saw that in my local that the 32 and the 40 were exactly the same price. So I opted for the 40

I paid 219 at currys a couple of weeks ago for the 32 inch model so this is a real bargain

All gone

All current 50hz TV's are capable of 60hz. They just market them as 50hz due to the UK broadcasting standard (PAL). The TV is made by Shenzhen MTC (China). Picture and sound are just ok, and the processor and ram combination isn't enough to run Android TV smoothly, so expect a lot of lag in the OS.

Cool (y)

And it was 65 inch?

50Hz is the Pal refresh rate. This TV does do 60Hz. Just play a video on YouTube and turn on stats for nerds.

I don't, I just know it's a lot smoother on use.

Has it received the major Android TV update which is rolling out across other manufacturers, or just a point update to the old Android TV version which it shipped with do you know ?

Heads up, there's been an update rolling out which has optimised the OS a lot better than the previous one - it's working a lot smoother than it did.

2 LG TV's over last 10 years, both broken after 1 month 5 years warranty....

Damaged box but new TV. Smart 4K with Freeview HD.

So my TV arrived yesterday and so far so good. It did a large 954 MB update before I could use it. For those interested in some specs: mstar m7322 soc (4 X Cortex A55 @ 1.4 GHZ) 1.5 GB of RAM Mali 470 8 GB storage with 4.6 GB usable for installation. My menus are not as 'slow as treacle' at all. For the price paid I'd say you won't find better. I tried some 4K HDR footage on YouTube and to my eye looked good. Not spectacular, but what do you expect for £170?

I would need it. Mines just sitting there for past 6 months. Power Led turns on but screen wont. I attrnpted remove power and then try. After 30 attempts it turned on. Worked for 3 days and then back to same issue. Was thinking of taking to Tip and throw off. You know how to fix it? Please let me know where can I get this power board from? I am a tech junkie and can fix it myself if I find the correct replacement board.

Turning off at the mains and back on when you get problems, normally sorts the issue.

Junk comment. It goes like this, 'it is cheap, therefore it is junk'. The processor in these matches or exceeds the ones in those Philips Ambilight TVs. I wonder if most Philips are third party manufactured just like these. I think it is the same for Samsungs budget TVs.
