I've been after one of these for a few weeks and this is the cheapest I've seen it for a while.. 30% off a 2nd one too, if you need 2.

I think these are really useful, I have one in the hallway and on the landing, if I come home when it's dark the hallway & landing lights come on, I also have it set so if it's during the night they come on dim. I've recently put colour GU10's in my bathroom so now I'll automate this to turn on/off at night (yes, pressing the switch is too much work!).
About this item
  • Smart Outdoor Lighting - Have your indoor or outdoor smart lights turn on automatically whenever motion is detected.
  • What's Required? - A 'Philips Hue Bridge' (sold separately) is required for smart control. Simply connect your new Philips Hue Motion Sensor to the bridge and take advantage of smart home lighting via the 'Philips Hue' app.
  • Weather Resistant (IP54) - The Philips Hue Motion Sensor is specifically designed for outdoor environments and has undergone rigorous tests to ensure performance.
  • Position Anywhere - The outdoor sensor is battery operated, and communicates wirelessly to your bridge, so you can take it wherever you want to detect movement. All the necessary components are included to mount it on the wall or in a corner.
  • Integrated Dusk to Dawn Sensor - With the motion sensor's integrated dusk to dawn sensor, have your lights only switch on when it's dark outside.

2x now back down to £52.73.

There are other qualifying items if you don't want 2 sensors e.g. tap dial switch.

Have loads of hue lights but no indoor sensors.
So when triggered this can switch certain lights on like a bathroom.
    How do they go off?
Do you set them on a timer for say 5 minutes or do you have to actually turn them off (via a switch, alexa etc)
Ideally you'd want them to turn off automatically when leaving the room??

Hi.... They are really customisable, can set timers to turn off for different times of day, different brightness and colour too. Reckon they'd do what you need

Check out the mmWave presence sensors. Aqara do a popular one. Ugly and wired only but they keep lights on even when you’re sitting still and you can set up zones in your room ie switch off all lights and switch on the tv when you sit on your couch

Bit of a pain with home assistant with the fp2 as you need to set up zones in the app. But the less featured ones are amazing, sync up with HA with no issues and pass through all the sensor data
Only pain is setting up the sensitivity settings

I use Sonoff sensors and home automation amazing and extremely cheap in comparison.

surely this mean it uses electricity all the time? ie the motion sensor needs power?

Back on again, now £31.40. No offer on for buying a 2nd one now though.

Not bad. I needed an extra but I’ll settle for 2 at the duo deal. They’re really useful. I’ve got one in nearly every room. I hardly ever have to switch lights on anymore. It’s really handy when you come home at night with your hands full or if your hands are wet/dirty. I even have one in the garage.

Try explaining to guests that they don’t need to use the light switch when they use the bathroom though lol.

I use mine as a nightlights on timer for the corridors and working superbly. How do you/guests turn off those lights in your setup? There’s a Hue Switch on each wall?

Good price for 2 but I only need 1. Can't believe I sold mine for about £20 and now I need one.

Edit: oh no just realised I have spot lights now where I needed it. (edited)

Thanks for the heads up, I've unexpired this. It's actually a bit cheaper @ £31.02.

It normally jumps between £35-39.99, it's been up and down for a couple of days before dropping to this price again.
