Get off the beaten track – this Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro can be your guide as well as your performance coach. The active GPS can provide turn-by-turn navigation on pre-plotted routes, while Track Back is perfect for guiding you back home. With sophisticated fall detection, it can send alerts to emergency contacts if you take a tumble. There are loads of ways to track your health - monitor heart rate and blood pressure, or track sleep and get tips.

Good to know

- The titanium frame and tough bezel means that it looks great and is tough enough to last
- Pay for your coffee with your watch – Samsung Pay uses NFC so you can make contactless payments
- It's water resistant to 50 m, so don't let rain or splashes put you off

Please note:
Fall detection can initiate Emergency call and message if you take a hard fall and don't seem to move. It cannot detect all falls. The more physically active you are, the more likely you are to trigger Fall Detection due to high impact activity that can appear to be a fall. Sending SOS calls and messages requires a network connection and smartphone pairing.

    FYI
Watch6 is available with £50 extra trade in
Watch6 Classic available with extra £75
No codes available for these two

Mind the battery though, 1 dsy I think. Initially bought the 6 classic, but cancelled order and went to buy the 5pro for a better battery. Held for nearly 3 days, but with loads of playing around.

Could anyone recommend some decent straps?
    robinson216's avatar
Honestly instead of buying one of these straps for £10, £20, or god forbid £50+ like some seem to cost, I'd recommend going on AliExpress and buying 5 or 6 different straps for about £1-2 each. They're quite literally the exact same ones you'll see on Amazon for 10 times the cost. I have about 5 straps for mine and the only 2 I ever use are the ones I paid the least for. (edited)

Got one last year with my other half's student discount and £100 off for a "smart" watch (got a cheapo one off Amazon for £8) trade in so worked out around £180 with a strap. Great watch, 3/4 days battery life, have a Spigen strap and bezel protector and would recommend to most over a 6.

Was looking at the 4 Classic for the bezel but glad I didn't as the price wasn't much different at the time with discounts new vs new.

Silicone straps though, do these ever suit anyone? My other half and I never end up wearing them long as they irritate our skin

hyperlink to "Trade In Page HERE" doesnt work. Can someone re-post?

quick question: will £100 a guaranteed trade in for any smart watch? or its the judgement call of the currys store?
    ny123's avatar
Just been into currys and they will only give amount for what watch comes up with , 2 pounds in my case , no guarantee of 100 pounds

Is this too big for a woman's wrist?
    Majid401's avatar
    Unfortunately yes unless big woman

Awful watch in my opinion, other than the battery life. The cpu is super weak vs snapdragon, so it's very laggy unless with "cached" stuff (meaning first time you open an app or navigate around will be sluggish, second time will be smoother but it's frustrating)

I've seen comparisons with the oneplus watch and then difference is night and day, especially for things like opening the play store or heavy apps, updating apps, etc.

The oneplus watch also seems sluggish when "waking up", when it transitions from the low power cpu to the snapdragon, but at least by the time you touch its screen it's already running on snapdragon

I had a Fossil Gen6 watch (lots of offers here fossil.com/en-…es/ for them but I hear they've discontinued all smart watches now) with a Qualcomm processor and it wasn't as fast as the Samsung watch. (edited)

Hands down the best android smartwatch I've used. £150 is an absolute bargain!
    Madmonk600's avatar
Agreed. I've been disappointed with the Pixel Watch 2 that I moved to.

Just picked up one of these for my Dad a few days ago for his birthday - not from here though. I hear good things about this model.

It's the best one I've owned. Liked it so much that I ended up buying both colours.

    What's the battery like?
    DarrylJohn's avatar
I get around 3-4 days with mine, don't see the point of a watch if it can't be on your wrist for 24 hours without needing a charge.

How does this beat the Oneplus Watch 2?
    Fonsocruise's avatar
    It doesn't

Recommend the rugged cover for this, massively overpriced piece of plastic but very protective and looks way better

I've had this watch since the £130 offer last year and although it is great for tracking in general, and the integration with Samsung Health mobile app is spot on. The sleep tracking is abysmal. Apart from tracking a stupidly low amount of deep sleep (sometimes as low as 10/20 minutes when you've been out like a light for 8 hours), it will sometimes just not track whatsoever. In fact, mine seemed to be tracking fine for the past 5 or 6 nights, and then the last 2 nights it only tracked 2 hours of sleep even though I was in bed for 9 and asleep for between 7-8.

It has done this regularly ever since I got the watch. I keep giving up on wearing it to bed and then after an update I'll give it another shot only to be disappointed again after a week or so. If you look online it is a very common problem with the watch which they've never addressed.

Can you pair this with Galaxy buds and play music/Spotify from the watch?

Someone told me the Huwai Redmi could and I wasted £40
