Does anybody know if these are better than a Dyson.

Depending on how define 'better', I think it would mostly depend on which model of Dyson or Samsung/other brand you are comparing to, with the power (Watts) being the primary difference. Personally, I've found all these stick vacuums pretty useless on anything but their 'boost' or highest power setting, at which point they become comparable to a larger vacuum but last a much shorter time (talking 10-15 mins top in my experience). They're great for cleaning skirting boards and the corners at edge of carpets, tops of door frames etc but not so much for large rooms as will have to be regularly recharging.
I've mentioned the Jet 95 below, which just received yesterday and for £150 I think the extra power and plethora of accessories (not sure how many I'll use) reckon a better deal. Imagine you could sell the extra accessories for at least as much to bring that to around a £100 as well : )

Can this thing actually vacuum under the carpet without having to remove it?
    shareef's avatar
Yes it can. But don't put it on max and keep it in one place for too long, or it'll suck up the foundations aswell.

I had a Dyson V10 and this has lasted longer and performed better for me

Cracking deal. This or the Jet 65?

Seems like the only difference I can see between the two (aside from the colour) is the screen that tells you the vacuums power level on the 70

Good, but I reckon the more powerful Jet 95 Pro model (210W vs this one's 150W) is a better deal for £149 after cashback hotukdeals.com/dea…628
Also comes with loads of attachments. Just got mine and was going to post as a deal but realised there's this existing one (although didn't mention cashback at that time).

    It's the Pet, but I agree 🏼

I have this model and colour. it's a 150W motor not 410W as it says above. It doesn't clean edges of floors well and the 40 mins run time does go quickly if you've got a 3 bedroom 2 storey home. For the price I paid back in November direct from Samsung i guess I can put up with the cons

410w motor, but 150w suction power

Does the cashback work with a single purchase of the item? The cashback info on samsung website suggests you need to buy qualifying products.

Yes, it will work. This vac that's in the deal is on the list of products for £50 cash back. Has to be claimed through Samsung.

How does it compare to a decrepid Dyson V10?

Samsung Spring cashback page says it starts from 10th April. When I click on claim button on Samsung website, it says its going to start on 10th May. Am I missing something?
    nnj10's avatar
Buying period from 10 April but you need to wait 30 days before you can claim hence the claim line opens from 10 May.
