After 15 months, the plan reverts back to 5GB

Id mobile do 25GB for £6 but that’s a 12 month contract and they do a credit check. It looks like no price rises anymore either. They use the full signal too. Maybe koda can confirm. Also id do rollover so if you used 10gb then 15 would rollover. If you then used another 10GB you’d then have the maximum rollover of 50GB

    He can!

Neither smarty nor ID Mobile do price rises on their SIM Only plans.

All brands that use the Three network, whether it's Three themselves, brands they own like Smarty, or third party piggy-backers like ID Mobile they all get full access to the range of signal that Three have to offer.

Only EE and to a lesser extent O2 do these signal restrictions. Three and Vodafone don't, but there may still be deprioritisation going on for those who piggyback if the network is busy.

i have been on smarty for a month after previously being on lebara, everyone will have their own experience but the 4g performance for me in multiple areas is terrible, 5g rarely appears. Even though it constantly shows you have signal, callers on the other end will say that you sound like a robot and are cutting out.

there is a comment above stating this is due to the fact they have 4g congestion issues

lebara was decent however when on a call it would cut off the data connection.

i will be switching elsewhere shortly, possibly trying talk mobile.

Was thinking of getting this for my son as we are all currently on Lebara and the signal and data has gone pretty bad over the past few months. Now having 2nd thoughts based on your comment.

Is this just for a month or is it a rolling contract?

Are you sure you get 12gb for roaming?

    R they reliable?

They are owned by Three and use their signal. So it greatly varies and depends what Three’s network is like where you live. If you’ve never tried them, ask around with friends family and coworkers to see what their experience is like.

For the most part, they are decent and if you are in range of a 5G transmitter their speeds can be amazing. If you’re 4G only you’re more likely to encounter their congestion issues at times.

I’m on 50gb for £8… been great so far… much better than o2

Is that 24gb or 20gb? The header and the screen shot say 2 different things.

Was with Smarty ( and can't fault them) switched to ID for a better deal. Any ID users here can clarify what numbers are included in plan, they want to charge for UK geographical numbers even though T&C says included. I am seriously annoyed and raised complaint. Clarification needed as all they do is refer me to out of plan charges

Thought geographically numbers were part of the plan. Also when does their month run from when you apply or you have to activate the sim? Id have a £5 for 8gb on 24 months with no price and rollover.

Does anyone know if I can use an out of plan add on whilst travelling out of the EU without an active plan.

Pointless having an active plan if I can't use it!

We live in NW london and switched to Smarty. Neither of my teenagers have complained. They seem quite happy.
