Thanks for posting this and for your previous Lebara deals, which have been invaluable.

Assuming one has good 5G network coverage (with Three) in the areas where you use it most, I'd expect this deal to be red hot. What am I missing !? :/

Any idea / feedback on how good their service is when roaming in the EU?

I believe they also offer WiFi access on London Underground, any idea how reliable this is?

Thanks in advance, for any help and advice.

    Thanks for kind words.

Smarty is really good if network works for you. EU service is good too.
No idea about London underground - sorry.

    Thanks

I'm waiting to see if there's a monthly sim for £10 unlimited everything! Then I'll bite

Lyca has £9.99 for 6 months BUT unlike Smarty their Unlimited is VERY limited! They cut you off after 450GB. I have both for the 5G speeds of EE on Lyca then for the rest of the month have to survive on Three truly unlimited 4G service. No 5G soon for me on Three unfortunately. The Lyca customer service is terrible, they couldn't work out why I had no service, no notification warning etc near or over limit.

I’m paying £16 a month rolling contract. Great speeds and not capped from what I seen from using them. Great deal

I got this deal years ago asked them if I could get it for £15 instead of £20 since I was a loyal customer and they said yes no problem. After the 12 months they said they were keeping me on that price.

Just been on to Smarty as I bought into this plan at £20 a couple weeks back and they have agreed to change me to the £15 charge when I have been with them for three months.

are the smarty customer services like 3 customer services in india ?

has anyone used 3 and smarty is it obvious you are getting calls cut off and data slow downs at peak times ?

Is it worse that being with 3 ?

    Thanks guys,

I had 3 and it was painful sometimes dropped calls and data slow downs...

Their cs is "chat" only. It's not even live chat, you can be on there, messaging back and forward and then..... Nothing for an age! Seems as with the telecoms companies, once you are connected, the staff are useless. It's a very frustrating experience!

I was cut off for 15 hours at the start of this month because they couldn't take payment. There was an error on their system that 2 people acknowledged, but still tried to blame my PayPal account for "lack of funds", even though I'd used it with no issue's that very day.

Are deals from Smarty applicable to existing customers?

If you message them they should give you the deal, they done it for me with the black Friday deal a couple of years ago.

My mistake guys, did not see the unlimited part, the deal for £8 was 40 gb.

Does anyone know if you can use LTE wacthes on Smarty?

I feel smarty data speed may have been capped at 150Mbps. Though I'mI could get up to 600Mbps with Three.

They deny this on their website.

Got to say that I find the coverage appalling, but then 3 has always been bad in rural areas. Going to ditch this network and go to one of the big networks.

Opposite experience for me. Using this now sat in my caravan in North Wales. Can't get a signal in my home, I live in the outskirts of a big town. Just depends if there's a mast near you.

Used these for a temporary sim to tether to. Excellent tbh. No issues.

No data cap when I last used them, their customer service was exceptional tbh

Don't forget they offer a social tariff at £12 pm unlimited everything for those on benefits

Price is okay. However my calls were always patchy and couldn't hear the other person and vice versa.

Moved to Vodafone. Calls are better. But over data signal was better on smarty.
