You can get them £10 cheaper direct from Sony. If you're not a student yourself, just ask someone for a code. Plenty of people give them away on Reddit.

It's not a code, it's the link that takes you to the Sony page.

I canceled my order because everyone said it wasn't worth the upgrade from the previous generation.

Wow, these really hold their price huh. Can't say I'm surprised though; I've used mine daily for the past 3 years. Think I got them on offer with codes for about £200 back in 21, but would prob still be willing to pay 180 for them now considering the XM5s aren't that much of an upgrade, and don't have the folding hinge

For sure! I initially bought a pair of soundcore ones and then shortly after invested in the XM4s. It's totally worth it! I've heard the XM5s have a flimsy headband too

Overrated and cheap, unnecessary bass. Going back.
Compared to Bose 700 these are inferior. Worth spending more on Bose. Hopefully, there are some discounts deals.

I have the xm2 and they are still going strong, really good quality. I can imagine the xm4 being even better

Can get from JL for £175 using Partner discount (£199 without discount) but yet I’ve still not bitten. Are they really that much better than Q30s?
