If if I turn the light switch off, and later on, do they automatically reconnect to the wifi?

Yes, I have had one for over a year and have never had to reconnect to Wifi since it was first installed.

Have these too. Very good bulbs. Able to dim them on the app aswell as I cannot have a dimmer switch. The party mode is good also.

    Good price.
I used Philips Hue until all the positive feedback pushed up the price to ridiculous levels so I switched to these. Never had any issues and been using some of them for years. Great bulbs. Work flawlessly with Alexa app. Heat.
Just for interest the 5m strips are also a fraction of the price of Philips and work just aswell as these. I have one around the back of my TV and it looks great on an evening. (edited)

    £8 each. Nice!

Also switched to these bulbs from Hue and not regretting it.

Already own quite a few other Tapo products, as they go on sale regularly (cameras, extension leads, light strips, etc) all easily linked to Alexa.

Very good quality products and never had any issues. They all just work how you would want them to, via apps or voice. (edited)

Had these and they keep disconnecting from the wifi that is less than 3 metres away, very unreliable.

I've got these throughout my house. They're ok, except they all seem to disconnect at random times and need repairing to the app - you can tell because they flash 3 times when they're turned on. Annoying.

This. I've removed 6 of them for this, very unreliable on my BT network, not found a solution.
    They'll be on Ebay shortly!

Annoying that they still don't do an ses version all these years later.
Yes you can buy adaptors, but that means using a bulb not ideal in size which also sticks out further.
It's an issue mentioned often on their forum so no shortage of demand.
