'Steps were:

1. Ignore Veho app
2. Install cameye3 app
3. Connect phone to camera Wifi using default pwd of 01234567
4. Reconfigure camera to use home wifi via cameye3 app
5. Connect to it from iSpy etc. using regular RTSP protocol'

    Be aware that these are designed to work with a Cave Hub, which they do not sell.

    They can be used standalone with another app but are a pain to set up

    In what way are they a pain to set up is it via WiFi? I've got some wireless cameras & find setting them up via Ethernet is easy then switch them to WiFi, had my eye on these 4 a while & was thinking of given them a go would you recommend them.

    Can anyone advise on a simple/basic outdoor camera? Just one camera required, good night vision, it’s for an elderly person no card/app etc just basic one recording, thanks in adv

    Not sure you can get one without a card or app......

    Wifi cameras all need an app....many will allow cards to avoid cloud subscriptions......

    Wired would require connection to a recorder inside the house

    One of the cheapest cams with microSD capability would be £2.72 delivered in a week from HUKDs fave Ali shifter.
    Probably less if willing to waste more than the 30secs I spent on a search.
