    A fantastic hardtail for this money with a spec that is fit for purpose right out of the box. Don't forget other possible discounts and cashback when buying. You may be able to get a 10% discount using various schemes, you can buy discounted halfords giftcards going through a cashback site and you can go through a cashback site for the final purchase. I'd personally try to get the price closer to £500-530. Don't buy giftcards until you are sure the bike is in stock in the size you want.

    Have you any suggestions for giftcard sites? The only one I found gives a 10% discount but you can only buy 3x£20, so £60 at a time. Halfords will only let you use 3 gift cards per transaction. Big pain.

    Never mind I've decided to go for bluelight discount instead. It's only 8% and probably won't stack with cashback though. (edited)
