I don't remember seeing it at this price, haven't got this myself, but like the idea better as you can still use a key from the outside.

I have Nuki, similar sort of thing.

What if the WiFi goes down. Will you be locked in or out?

You can use the key from the outside, or just turn it to open from the inside.

Had this lock for about 3 years and it's been brilliant, very reliable, batteries last ages. Great price too op, I encourage others to pick this up.

And to answer the questions above, you don't need the WiFi bridge, only for remote access. The lock is battery operated and works locally with your phone using Bluetooth so as long as its in range it'll work.

You'll need a locking mechanism that has an emergency entry function, as in you can use the key on the outside even of there's a key on the inside. Yale do have one specific for this lock, it means even if the unit completely fails you can still use your key. I now keep my key in my wallet and as I always have my wallet in my pocket I have complete peace of mind (edited)

    Complete peace of mind?
What about if you get mugged and forced to strip naked?
Hadn't considered that scenario had you!

I took a punt on the Used - Acceptable one for £65. If it’s not my idea of acceptable then it goes back!

It's got some appalling reviews. I'm going to look for an alternative. Can anybody recommend another?

Bold Smartlock, had one for 3 years, they are brilliant.

Unlocks the door for you as you get to the door assuming you have your phone with you.

My entrance door has both nightlatch and deadbolt locks. This lock would go over which one? Would it auto lock when the door is closed? How does the fail safe manual key process work?

Aqara U200 seems a lot better

Don't forget with these you have to get into the habit of lifting the door handle to prime the deadbolts when closing the door as its auto lock wont work..
