If you're a registered user on Reddit and you want to give these a try before you sign up to an 18 month contract, they currently have a deal on for 30 day rolling contracts for £35 a month with the first month free - I'm currently trying them out using this very deal.

Customer service is generally pretty good and quick to respond. But be warned they are only around during working hours and there's no phone number to contact them whatsoever. It's all online support.

Internet is very fast, but the supplied router isn't enough to get you the full speed of the package they sell. You actually get given a 1.2Gb connection, but the router only has gigabit ethernet ports so you're articially limited to about 900Mb unless you get your own router. If you're fine with the 900Mb limit though, they give a brand name TP Link router which has good performance and range, and even has VoIP support built in should you want to use a landline as well.

All connections are routed direct to London. So if you live in the north you will get a higher latency ping time. If you want the absolute lowest latency connection maybe try a northern specialist on CityFibre like Brawband who will route via Edinburgh instead. Probably better for this for anyone in north Yorkshire and beyond.

One thing I am finding with Yayzi is that they have bought a load of IP addresses from other countries and this is causing a few problems for me. BBC iPlayer, Now TV and such keep giving the error message that I am trying to watch from outside the UK so it blocks access to streaming their content.

Hopefully this little review gives an idea of what they are like.

I'm pretty sure why they're doing this is too counteract the reams of posts complaining about them on that reddit. It sure put me off when I was looking last autumn. At one point it felt like half the reddit posts on the cityfibre reddit was yayzi problems.

You have to go via Quidco to Uswitch and do broadband search to get cashback anyway.
Link may not work as its postcode search on Uswitch.

What London Street is this on this time?

It’s available anywhere you can get CityFibre. They have a good and ever-increasing coverage across the UK as far north as Inverness. I’m also online with them in a relatively small village more than 10 miles outside of Newcastle.

It’s nowhere near as limited as you think. CityFibre’s network is rapidly closing in on 4 million addresses now and they aren’t really slowing down the expansion anytime soon.
