The Ultra has the same camera sensor as Pixel 7a. If one manages to install a recent version of GCam, it will probably take great photos.

I know it's been a long time but when I got the ZTE axon 7 they handled software support terribly, it was all over the place. I don't think I would buy ZTE again from my experience. (It was 2016 to be fair)

Can’t get the ZTE Axon 40 ultra for £499. Only takes £30 off. Looks like the phone is up in price to £709

Under display camera is unfortunately still not good.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is overheating.

Besides these two quite major flaws - quite a good phone and great price.

But as I mentioned, if there would be no problems, it wouldn't be discounted so much so quick.

I almost ordered the z50 from AliExpress last night but the software experience will make or break these makes i.e. do notifications work? What are the frequency of updates etc. (edited)
