Text DOUBLE to 1122
Double Data for eligible BT Broadband customers who have an eligible EE Mobile plan. Double Data for all the numbers registered to the same EE account. Account holders must be the same on both the EE and BT accounts and registered to the same address. Double Data will be removed if you no longer have the eligible products from both BT & EE. Double Data on core data allowance only. No cash alternative. May take up to 24 hours to activate.

    Thanks for the info, just logged in to my account, scrolled down and there was a "teaser" for this which I clicked on the "Tell me more" and saw this:

    Get 30% off and double data on EE SIM only deals as an existing BT Broadband customer. You can also get exclusive deals on the lastest (sic) pay monthly phones with EE, saving you 10% or more off your monthly plans.

    So clicked on "View exclusive deals" but rather than getting an option to double my existing data instead opens in BT.com and can apply for another sim card...

    So that's a no then...

    Also why can't sites have a big "Sign out" button at the top of the page rather than, as with EE, having to search, click profile then scroll down and voila there's the "Log out" button ...rant over...

    It’s funny how they give so many offers to BT broadband customers yet EE customers are shafted, I would much rather have double data than an addition of 10GB - 20GB

    I got this last week, but I thought it was a scam as I don’t usually get texts from that number, from EE.

    I’m on the deal posted last year; 12 Month, 125GB plan. I now have 250GB.

    I was offered this on the phone when apply for BT home broadband since I'm using an EE sim. Now sitting on 100gb for 13.5 per month. It's both double the data plus %10 discount for having both. (edited)

    I got a text from EE about this, did what the text said to do, and immediately got my data allowance doubled.

    I had to phone EE on another matter, and in the course of the conversation mentioned this regarding my wife's phone, which is on my account. He said it hadn't been, my wife was out at this time, but he immediately doubled her's too.

    So no complaint

    Why would you need so much data?

    Specially if the signal isn't great or network is so congested you can't even get good speeds to use it.

    Few people need this much data. It's just a selling strategy like VOLT on Virgin Media and 02 who are looking to merge only that it's fraud and useless as a selling point when there's great deals on Lebara and co.

    Nice, thanks! it worked for me instantly even though I checked both my BT and EE accounts and there was no mention of that specific offer (or at least nothing that looked like the screenshot from the post)

    I’m on EE and BT on the same account but the deal did not work for me. Annoying, as I could of done with a bit more data.

    I was never given my double data that I was eligible for. Have been chasing for 5 months and keep getting told to wait another month to take effect.

    Disn't seem to work for me yet says in my EE app that i get double data? Perhaps I have it already and didn't realise? If you go into MyEE, it will show your data allowance there so you will know if it has doubled or not.
