The grass really is greener with this LG QNED91. Its Quantum Dot NanoCell technology means your favourite movies and TV shows are bursting with richer, more lifelike colours. It uses MiniLED technology, so you get a perfectly balanced contrast with deep blacks and eye-popping brightness – those nature documentaries never looked so good. With Dolby Atmos, you'll be wrapped in 3-dimensional sound for that movie theatre experience, and Dolby Vision adds greater depth to movies and video games. Working its magic behind the scenes is the a7 AI Processor Gen5. From vintage flicks to the latest blockbuster, it knows what you're watching and gives everything the VIP treatment. It cleans up the picture, perfects your audio, and more.

Good to know

- Access all your favourite apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and loads more on LG's webOS smart platform
- Its 120 Hz refresh rate and Motion Pro technology means even fast moving action will stay smooth and in focus
- Game Optimiser fine tunes your settings, so your games look and sound their best and run smoothly – your enemies don't stand a chance
- GoogleAssistant and AmazonAlexa are built-in, so you can just ask your TV to dim your smart lights for movie nights

How good is this TV? Someone please give feedback
    mart321's avatar
I found 3 reviews and 2 were 5 star. The other was 4 and that was because it was over £3000. They compared it to the LG C series OLEDS. So yes its going to be an amazing TV. I see no TV really anywhere near this quality at this price. It's a massive reduction. Best TV deal I've seen on HotUKDeals in quite some time.

I have the exact same TV that I bought last year. It is indeed a nice TV with good colours and lots of features. However I don't think it can compare with OLEDs. I know the price difference is huge but especially dark scenes are pretty bad because of backlight bleeding. Let me know if you have any questions
    TheWubbard's avatar
Agree, colour rendition is great, but I wish I'd bought an OLED for the blacks.

Also, this TV has been available at various times for much less than the RRP, so take that into account when getting excited about the stated discount.

Ordered the 65" from LG. I hope it's a 5 year warranty though?

    mart321's avatar

    Any decent 55 inch TVs?
  6. brez's avatar
Think I'll go for the 75".

I bet if this was reviewed at a grand, reviews would be even more positive.

I wonder if there is a better 75" for the money right now? Doubt it...I'm gonna go for it.

    Cheers OP

Cheaper to buy direct from LG and getting 20% off by signing up to this FA partnership newsletter gives you a unique 20% off code, which arrives by email, if the code doesn’t work on desktop, then try redeeming it in a mobile browser: lgpartnerships.com/lg/en/landing

We have the 86 inch model the QNED86, main difference is that the QNED91 has dimming pro feature, same processor, screen etc..

Excellent TV, great picture quality, great for gaming.
  11. telcab's avatar
I've just got this for £639 also via the FA newsletter promotion. Thanks very much OP and @spaceman.

They must have just dropped it, was full price earlier.

Knowing Currys, probz end up saying its a pricing error and cancel orders. (edited)
    SMS6500's avatar
Dont think that'll be the case. I think they price matched JL.

This tv was never worth 2k. Maybe 1200?
    Factor that into your deal.

What are QNED’s like compared to OLED’s?
    Alex_H's avatar
It's still just an LCD screen so will come with the main drawbacks and advantages over OLED. Advantage being cost and brightness. Disadvantages being grey blacks compared to OLED.

Debating this one or the Samsung QLED 75inch
    nothingmuch's avatar
    Which QLED?
  21. Shinrin-Yoku's avatar
Anyone know if this has 4x HDMI 2.1 ports like some of the reviews suggest or do we get 2x?
    mart321's avatar
According to curries it's 2 of each. There seems very little info for this specific model of qn916. This variant is the 916QE. There is no info about it. Is it a 2022 model?? There is loads about the model in general that is QNED916 but little about the curries 916QE
  22. jamiew103's avatar
considering this. wont get much better around black friday?
  23. jakub9611's avatar
Can’t beat Oled even Samsung finally start product oled tvs , good for price but old technology
    ciaranmcw92's avatar
OLED is only best for dark rooms. Also heard you are not supposed to let direct sunlight on it for extended periods.

So for bright rooms, you can beat OLED I believe.

    I've only recently purchased a 2023 75QNED816RE!

Wish this had come 1 month earlier!
    mart321's avatar
Damn, how much did you pay and is it too late for a return??
  26. Vandetta's avatar
65 or 75 a better deal? They have the same specs and warranty right? (edited)
    mart321's avatar
I didn't know about the 65 model inch and got the 75. Space is not an issue for me. I did think about cancelling and getting the 65 but screw it!. Both the same spec and warranty. Bigger savings on the 75"
  27. MarcusD's avatar
Ordered the 65" Only thing is its £799+ delivery which seems to be it least £20, not sure if that's just my postcode but collection wasn't an option!
  28. SwordOfEden's avatar
It's a mid range TV that looks bad in dark that is at its expected price basically. For gamers, also has black crushes in dark so not great there.

Best to wait for black Friday for LG Oled or Samsung QD OLED and Sony OLED drops.
    mart321's avatar
Not everyone wants OLED though. OLED is also poor in bright rooms. OLED has its caveats. I have an OLED screen laptop and i much prefer my LCD screen laptop. I find it too dark and I don't like the colours. (edited)
  29. Quids's avatar
Hot from me, but typical, no 55"...damn...
  30. ElChampo's avatar
Is this worth pairing with any of the LG soundbar included in the deal? I was looking for a tv our out bright extension and i was holding out for LG C2 on Black Friday would this be a better option?
  31. Katyo's avatar

    yes standard vesa 400x400
  32. Franny_Jeffers's avatar
Is this actually a 2023 tv? And any idea how good the viewing angle is?
  33. mart321's avatar
Unbelievable, it's £639 with the 20% off voucher for the 65 inch

Now wish I had got this instead of the 75inch for £1020 from curries. (edited)
    SeaBeast's avatar
Yeah i’ve just seen the same mate ordered from LG gonna ring curries now
  34. mart321's avatar
And is it a 5 year warranty direct with LG because the 5 year one with curries is definitely worth at least £100
    SeaBeast's avatar
yes 5 year warranty i checked
  35. immy_ashraf's avatar
Which one is a better deal lg 65" with 20%. Off or Currys 75" ?
    mart321's avatar
£639 for 65" or £1020 for 75". Both come with 5 year warranty.

oh well, ordered the 75 inch one instead
  39. joe314159's avatar
65" Seems to be OOS at Currys now (but it's being strange about it and just not letting you checkout rather than showing as OOS on the listing page).
Still in stock at Hughes though (and they have a potential 6% student discount)
    BaelinTheFisherman's avatar
thanks ordered a 65 from hughes with 6% student discount (for my friend) - keeping currys 75 inch one for myself... although 86 inch is really tempting too
