sorted byAlso if someone does bite the bullet and wants to see if app2 are genuine once received, check to see if you can find the AirPods case by Precision Finding in the Find My app, where it will give you an accurate distance and direction to your app2 case (you need a fairly recent iPhone). The fakes can’t replicate this specific feature as they don’t have the required in-house chip.

In addition, I understood that case engraving is only available on direct sales from Apple, yet it is shown in one of their photos.
