True brightness,pure immersion

Sparkling brightness and deep blacks on this large Mini LED screen are powered by the Cognitive Processor XR™.

Lifelike Contrast. Mini LED.

Depth and detail are extraordinary. XR Backlight Master Drive™ expertly controls our 4K Mini LED.

Cinematic. Synchronised.

Right and left frame tweeters reproduce sound from the screen, cinema-like. Powered by Cognitive Processor XR™, every sound is immersive.

Game time. Be invincible.

Our BRAVIA XR™ TVs capture the awesome graphics and soundscapes of today’s games. Want more? Pair with a PlayStation®️5 console for absolute immersion.

Love entertainment.Love the planet.

Great pictures and sound should never compromise the environment. We work tirelessly to help reduce our impact on the planet.

Lifelike contrast with deep blacks and dramatic highlights

Dazzling peak brightness, deep blacks, natural mid tones. XR Backlight Master Drive™ controls thousands of ultra dense Mini LEDs with absolute precision and independence for ultimate contrast.

Extended colour volume, now see every shade and hue

Over a billion colours reproduced with the subtle differences seen in the real world. Powered by our Cognitive Processor XR™, XR Triluminos Pro™ with a wide colour spectrum delivers natural shades in every detail.

Everything upscaled close to 4K quality

Whatever the content or source, images are upscaled close to 4K. XR 4K Upscaling accesses a vast database to intelligently recreate lost texture and detail.

Less noise. Less blur. More clarity in every picture.

XR Clear Image reduces noise utlilising zone division and dynamic frame analysis, and minimises blur.

Intelligent motion processing for fast-moving, blur-free scenes

By analysing motion across several frames, Cognitive Processor XR™ with XR Motion Clarity™ ensures fast-moving sports and action-packed movies stay smooth, bright and clear.

Beautiful colours. Any angle. Any environment.

With X-Anti Reflection™, pictures are clearer with less reflection and glare. X-Wide Angle™ keeps pictures looking as beautiful from the sides as they do from the centre.

Synchronised. Maximised. Cinema-like sound.

The frame is the speaker. Hear sound straight from the screen, perfectly synchronised with action. Cognitive Processor XR™ turns any sound immersive with more precise sound position.

Sound and pictures, precisely aligned

With Acoustic Multi-Audio+™, it feels as though sound is coming from the right place in the scene, precisely matching visuals. Far more immersive than conventional TVs where sound comes from beneath the screen.

Frame Tweeter.Optimal sound position.

More expansive, more powerful, more spatial. Our Frame Tweeter vibrates the frame, projecting sound forwards. By evaluating the position of all speakers, sound is perfectly balanced.

All your entertainment upscaled to 3D surround sound

XR Surround virtually creates surround sound using just the TV speakers for 3D audio without in-ceiling or up-firing speakers. Our BRAVIA XR™ TVs are also compatible with Dolby Atmos®

Clear Voice.Precise dialogue.

Voice Zoom 2™ detects voices, analyses them and improves their clarity. With enhanced filtering, ambient elements are suppressed so you can hear even faint TV dialogue clearly.

Acoustic Center Sync

With Acoustic Center Sync, you can turn both your compatible BRAVIA and the soundbar into a centre speaker. Precisely matching what you hear with what you see on your screen further immerses you in your home entertainment.

Ready for 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer

Tailor your Dolby Atmos® experience by combining our SRS-NS7 wearable speaker with BRAVIA XR™ for spatial surround. With some Sony headphones, you can also get the simulated surround of 360 Spatial Sound.

Control your Sony Audio effortlessly

With an integrated UI, soundbar sound settings automatically appear on the BRAVIA Quick Settings menu. Easily control features such as sound field and volume using the TV remote, no need to switch to your audio remote.

Auto HDR Tone Mapping

Auto HDR Tone Mapping instantly optimises HDR settings during your PS5™ initial setup. Even in dark shadow and bright highlights, you’ll see fine details and true colours.

Auto Genre Picture Mode

BRAVIA XR™ automatically switches into Game Mode with PS5™ to minimise lag and maximise responsiveness. It switches back to Standard Mode when watching movies for more expressive scenes.

Top range OLEDs (A95K, G3,S95C, LZ2000B etc) > Mid range OLEDs (e.g. A80L, S90C) > X95 mini led >= some mid range OLEDs > low end OLED >= everything else

    Better than most lowend oled
Better than some mid range OLED
    Better than all non-oled TV

If you care about burn-in AND have super bright room or skeptical about Oled, this is the best TV money can buy.

really debating whether to go for this or one of those mid range OLEDs (A80L, S90C)

Would have been excellent had they used the same panel as the 85inch!
    Naruto's avatar
From reading up on forums the difference from both sizes are negligible that most people won't notice unless it's side by side. The 65 inch is still a great TV.

Was about to pull the trigger but oos now.

Back in stock but £200 more (edited)

Unidays discount no longer works now

That's crazy. In stock again at 1529 but yeah no longer discounted.

    Nice price for this. 🔥

The best non-OLED TV of 2023. (edited)

I'm not paying £1699 now I've seen it for £1499 an hour ago. I'll wait.

Now we're talking! Really good price for this TV!

How are Sony with returns, warranty etc? (edited)

Can be had for cheaper if you have perks and price match currys and use the gift card, around 7% off.
    BhavDavda's avatar
Works with unidays. I'd recommend not using a gift card as if there's anything wrong they'd probably refund you with a gift card
  10. BhavDavda's avatar
Works with unidays people. Was 1349 for me.

    Congrats bud

How's does unidays work? Similar to cashback sites where you get redirected to Sony? Not a student btw if that matters.

I’ve just spoke to Sony rep , it was a limited time deal , witch seems unfair to customers, considering it BF week !
    VelocityEvo's avatar
limited for like 3 hours? lol

How does this compare to the C3? Which has been on offer for less
  13. hksam07's avatar
that’s great price , how does it compare to an OLED ?

The problem with Sony tv are they remove a lot of apps from my older tv.
I got 2 Sony tv in home 5 and 7 years old ,they still work perfectly but they just slowly removed app from tv,without firestick will not work. So this is problem what I afraid with Sony .
Not sure if is same problem with android tv
    CoolStory's avatar
This is the problem with any brand smart TV. It is all down to licensing, and all brands are guilty, I usually just use an apple tv in the living room and fire tv with an older Samsung in the bedroom. (edited)
  16. JazzJPH's avatar
Do they still push ads on the home screen on these TVs?
    trevhib's avatar
It's on the Google OS and that platform is bound to increase the number of ads it shows over time. FOMO just did a video on this exact thing.

    Pulled the trigger 🔥

Bought for £1750 from Costco only a few weeks ago. I can get it for £1350 with a student discount here. Wonder if it's worth the hassle to send the current back and re-order this one...Hmmm
    BhavDavda's avatar
£400 is a big difference. Maybe wait until cyber Monday to see if costco reduce it to same price and just return and collect from there
  19. Afonso_Gomes's avatar
Telling me out of stock already and doesn't allow to add to the basket.

    VelocityEvo's avatar
    Was yours cancelled?
