Found it another way... open the play store, press your icon in the top right and select Play Pass from the menu. It appeared there for me

You can just use it for one month (£1) or two months (£2)...

Try out paid apps/games that are available on it.

If you like them add them to your Wishlist and buy them when on sale.

That's how I would personally use it.

Hidden Folks, Mini Metro, Old Man's Journey, Golf Peaks are some good games for instance.

Tasker is a powerful app for automating actions on your phone. Tried but didn't bother buying, couldn't be bothered with the learning curve, but loads really like the app.

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder (Pro) is pretty good for recording voice or music, you can choose file type and quality.

This is a kind of sneaky deal.

I got a 3 months free deal that expired earlier this month. Played some cool games and checked out some apps and considered getting the annual pass for £29.99 when the deal expired but thought "I'll wait to see if there's a better deal during Black Friday."

But it seems this deal will end up being the same price as just buying an annual pass anyway if you forget to cancel it sneaky sneaky.

Some games I recommend from my time using the app: check out the Final Fantasy and Professor Layton games if you haven't played them, Deemo is a fun rhythm game and This Is Not A Game is a fun puzzle game.

I had a look and most things seem rather useless but 6 quid for 6 months aint bad.

That said - Professor Layton original trilogy in HD, awesome.

Will get the wife to enjoy and break her heart by the end of the trilogy, the last part is for my own enjoyment so HEAT well worth 6 quid

Yeah I did a trial last year. Was good for trying out lots of apps/games. I bought some after the trial rather than keeping on with monthly payments.

It also helped me see that there were others that I would not actually be bothered about buying.

And when I say 'buy' I mean use my Google Opinion Rewards credit

I just cancelled my subscription, but it says it will remain active till 1st Dec, so i dont think I'll be able to get this deal which is sad because i actually pay £5pm for it:(

That's only if you've never used PayPal to pay for Google Play before I think. So if you've ever bought anything and used PayPal I don't think it would work.

I spotted that there is an app called Google Play Games which brings Android games to PC, including:

AFK Arena, Asphalt 9, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Fallout Shelter, Genshin Impact, Mindustry and Top Eleven Be a Soccer Manager (but much is stuff I'm not very excited about)

I almost signed up for this but I wasn't sure if its worth it for me. Im not in to playing games on my phone. Is it worth it for just utility-type apps, like fitness coaches, mindfulness, reminders, youtube, tools etc?

Does it remove adds from already installed apps?
