    1920x1080 4k? Ford Ferrari?

Must downconvert any 4k input to 1080.

    Edit: quote from blurb:

"The HY350 projector features LCD projection technology, a native FHD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1500:1 contrast and a brightness of 300 ANSI Lumens. The focus is automatic as the keystone correction, and we can get a screen with recommended dimensions between 40″ and 150″ placing it between 1.2 and 4 m." (edited)

Most projectors quite 4K or FHD as a downscaled option, this is fairly common, years ago many projectors output at VGA resolution but were quoted as 'HD ready' even from big manufacturers because it could take the signal and still output it at the projector's native resolution without forcing reduced resolution, so I guess it means it'll take a 4K signal without adjustment and output it ok still.

These cheap projectors are way better than you think. I bought a HY300 which is less than £40 and I was stunned at how good it was. I also have a Samsung Freestyle 2 which cost 15 times as much but it's nowhere near that price difference in quality.

    No HDMI

"The HY350 projector includes in the connectivity section in its rear area a USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm audio jack and a HDMI 2.0 video connector."

You can see the HDMI port on the right hand side of the image.

Tempted, any other alternatives better for this price? Only going to use a few times a year so don’t want to spend a fortune.

You can set these up to project on to a net curtain. Sometimes we have movie night in the back garden.

Received mine and really pleased with it. looks great in a fully dark room, perfect for the bedroom. Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying navigation clicking sounds? Can't see it anywhere in the settings
    vidic007007's avatar
Sorry for a thread resurrection but can’t find this anywhere, does it support Bluetooth out for audio? E.g To connect to a soundbar?
  11. hoorah91's avatar
Does it have speakers built in and include a remote control? The description ain't clear

I've had 2 budget projectors. Wanbo t2 Max and yaber V6. Both bought used for a similar price. The spec of this looks good, more like the yaber which works well during the day or with the lights on. If you've got a firestick and a couple of echos to do cinema sound I'd recommend doing so.

If I was looking for a projector today, I'd take a punt in this.

Use a fire stick and thank me later

Anyone found a good cheap screen to go with it? I'm after a pull down one
    gregp's avatar
I’ve had a Vonhaus pull down 100inch screen that has been great for the price

Buy 4, arrange 4x4, you have a real 2K/4K 200 inch monster projector

Coming in as £89.69 for me including tax after discount code, so about £85 if the TCB pays out.
