About this item
The packaging of the item may differ from image as we may repackage to avoid damages
This pack contains 18x440ml cans of Stella Artois Premium Belgian Lager Beer, 4.6% ABV
Stella Artois is a Belgian Pilsner Lager Beer which uses Saaz Hops for both a richness in taste and goldness in appearance
The roots of Stella Artois' rich brewing heritage can be traced back as early as 1366, to the town of Leuven, Belgium. Over 600 years later, Stella Artois remains dedicated to crafting beers of distinction; using the very same passion, skill and devotion as the Master Brewers before us
This is a beautifully balanced, full-flavoured premium lager with a pronounced hoppy bitterness and a crisp, clean and refreshing finish
Every Stella Artois is brewed with water, malted barley and maize. But most importantly, it's the Saaz Hops which help Stella Artois Lager stand out
Before being poured, we always recommend your Stella Artois has been chilled to between 3-5°C, and of course, you should enjoy a Stella Artois in its unique Chalice, the curves of which are designed to enhance the taste and aroma of the beer

Who still drinks this ? They have killed this beer . I remember the good old times when it was actually nice , before they started messing around with it .
Gareth_Spolding:
Yep when it was 5.2%, reduced the abv to try and deter the 'wife beater' image
They still sell the original 5.2 in Belgium and the 5.0 in France .
It's not even Stella anymore. It's worse than Fosters (edited)

Beer snobbery has rocketed in the past 5 or so years. There’s so much more choice nowadays that I suppose it’s only natural. For me though, I still prefer a standard lager. Yes I’d like to have Paulaner all the time but it’s not always available and it’s more expensive. I usually get Rheinbacher from Aldi but this is coming up cheaper and will be decent on the approach to Xmas. Heat added.

Heineken 15 x 440ml 2 for £22 Amazon or Sainsbury's (can also get Kronenbourg at Sainsbury's) comes out at £1.66 per litre. Heineken 5% abv is 9% stronger than 4.6% Stella

Eh, this is why I drink IPA's. All these lagers taste like ****. I'd rather pay a bit more and actually taste something strong. Good deal if you like this though. I used to be a fan when it was over 5% (edited)

Nah, was reduced simply because of taxes...
I would be quite happy to pay a bit extra for a decent beer .

Yeah all the lagers brewed in the UK taste the same but get it in Europe and it's a different taste, allegedly all about food miles nothing to do with profit

This stuff is vile now, watered down rubbish brewed in UK. The unfiltered is 10 X nicer.
