    Thanks bought 12 for ebay

Talked to chat, seems discounts like blue light card won't work on new products.
    milkshake22's avatar
It did work yesterday you can see on screenshot but got taken off , they will reinstate it at some point was released this week so not surprised they not allowing it since there will be demand for it. Also costumer services won’t have a clue abut it since it does not say that anything is excluded on the codes. (edited)

I love the idea that a student could afford to drop nearly a grand just on a monitor

Students can be quite silly with their money, when I was in uni, one guy spent their first student loan installment buying drinks for everyone in our block at the student union for a majority of freshers week, he ate beans and toast/pasta for the next three months!

You do not want QD-OLED, you want WOLED.
    hallucynogenyc's avatar
    Absolutely not

Wooow I just clicked + instantly, I paid same for a 175hz ultrawide qd oled last year but this is insane

    Wish this was flat
    gopolog86's avatar
Just wait for the other QD oled monitors, I'm the opposite as going for this one due to it being curved and the rest ain't
  7. JackAllard's avatar
Wow the specs of this look insane… QD-OLED, 4K, 240Hz… wow!
    gopolog86's avatar
and all reviews are amazingly good for this.

Annoyed there seems to be no codes on blue light for some reason and just student beans, if anyone has a code available happy to swap for one on blue light card thanks
  9. Latterman's avatar
This is also at this price via the EPP with a code.
    gopolog86's avatar
not on blue light card, as looked, guessing through dell some how?

Been waiting to swap from a tv to a monitor and this is the one I was going to go for but picked up the Samsung g8 oled 2 days ago for £575 from eBay Blown away with it tbh but really wanted 4k
    what to do lol (edited)
    Gimme-A-Deal's avatar
How much can you sell the G8 for now? Go for it! (edited)

AW2725DF is selling like hot cakes, going to keep an eye out for deals around summertime
    superleeds27's avatar
Same. Might be finally time to move from my trusty AD27QD

This sounds ideal! Except I really want one with a USB-C port. Doesn’t even have to support full frame rate I just need USB-C. Does such a monitor exist? I’ve currently got a 40 inch LG 40wp95c and it’s great except it’s too big for me and the refresh rate is not good.
    Gimme-A-Deal's avatar
Why does it need to be support USB C? I presume its for your laptop, just get a docking station and then you can connect that to this monitor via HDMI/DP.
  13. garethofthedead's avatar
trying the blue light code just says expired when added
    Urzrkymn's avatar
Same. Also none of the NHS codes work.
  14. EllieMoo's avatar
My Dell Advantage code was working yesterday but doesn't on this monitor today. Anyone got a spare Student Beans or other code that *does* work? I wanted to buy it today

    Thanks!
  15. KeyserShawzi's avatar
What code did you apply, I tried the one for alienware monitors and it said whilst it is a valid code, it cannot be redeemed
    Julian_Anderson's avatar
Think there’s either site issues or they’ve disabled them now. It worked for me yesterday
  16. Julian_Anderson's avatar
If anyone needs 10% off give me a message, I have a one use code via my work scheme. Used one myself yesterday to place an order

EDIT: looking like my codes are no longer working. Either site issues or they’ve disabled them now for these orders. Sorry! (edited)
    Peckaflex's avatar
Yeah I tried Student beans, Unidays, BL and Perksastwork none of them are working now.

From looking at Reddit posts in the states there have been alot of issues around them not being packed correctly and turning up with lots of tiny scratches / scuffs so maybe waiting a month or two isn't the worst idea if you aren't in a rush while they address that.

Saying that, the panels look amazing!
  17. Urzrkymn's avatar
Looks like all the 10% codes have been cancelled now for the two new monitors. They’ve released 5% codes instead.
    EllieMoo's avatar
Yep, just seen that. I lost out on nearly £40 off due to hestitating yesterday - sigh!

More than I got my 55" Sony A95 oled for....

    New? From where
  19. Blackhorse's avatar
Just bought the AW3423DWF the other day for £668.
Still within the period where they accept returns for not liking it
Trying to work out of this monitor is worth the hassle of a return and the extra cost
    Gimme-A-Deal's avatar
I would say its worth the upgrade if you have spare the extra cash.
Currently running a AW3418DW for a good 7 years now.. wish I can be in your position. (edited)

Anyone got the code to work ?
  21. Al3x4nd3r's avatar
1k monitor without "AMD Free-Sync™ Premium Technology: No "
    👌
"AMD doesn’t charge monitor makers for the technology"
    Will wait for LG then
    Raaawr's avatar
It has vrr, free-sync premium is just branding /quality assurance.

Out interest, would a card like RTX 4080 Super be able to run games in 4K?
    Urzrkymn's avatar
    52147813-jVXSy.jpg
If the 4080S can’t there’s not much hope for any other cards But it just depends what frame rates you’re happy with. I’d sooner play 1440p with higher frame rates. (edited)

Annoyed my BL Card 20% off codes didn’t work. Kept saying Invalid. Amex has 10% off dell so not too bad.

A lot of US people are complaining about micro scratches. Some notice only with a bright light shining on the screen and a few have said its noticeable in normal use. Either way, if it aint 100% perfect I’ll be sending it straight back!
    jaju123's avatar

My amex doesn't have dell ATM

And also yeah the scratches happened on aw3423dw too

    £824.17 excluding VAT @20%
    Or has the price changed?
  25. Stesha83's avatar
I was about to pull the trigger on this when I read about Dolby vision problems over display port. I would hold off until they’ve worked out all the bugs
    Phil452's avatar
i mean if its faulty just send it back
  26. Spikecast's avatar
Grabbed one earlier with the a 5% code. See what it's like, any issues will be straight back, thankfully dell have a good returns policy.
    milkshake22's avatar
Where you get the %5 code ?
  27. Joe_O4p's avatar
Does anyone know when the other 4k 32" OLED monitors are coming to the UK? All I can find online is when they're coming to NA. Trying to weigh whether to wait and compare or just dive in as I've been waiting for these since mid last year! 😁
    Raaawr's avatar
Msi is feb-april but 3-400 more expensive. Asus will be 4-500 more if you go based off previous years.

Hp&samsung are unknown. This is a good buy if the dolby vision bug gets fixed.
  28. KC30's avatar
    34" for 929 ..... no code needed
    Peckaflex's avatar
Thats only WQHD, not 4k. They are geneally cheaper
