Some decent last-min fares to Goa with TUI. Quite a few dates around £350 return.

Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda. ― Google

Haven't been here since long haul on Monarch stopping at Bahrain. Bet it's changed a bit. Great place, great people, good price

load up on immodium and toilet roll. beware of the Russians and taxi racket but the food is good, cheap and on average cleaner than most of india. the beaches are OK but I've been on better in the uk. Nothing like south east Asia or the caribbean.

    How much is Evisa?
    sydney871's avatar
Last year it was around $10 plus processing fees. So not much . Make sure you apply through the official Indian website and don't use any intermediaries.

Note the fees are dependent on what time of the year you go to India see indianvisaonline.gov.in/evi…tml for more information. (edited)

What's Manchester airport like at the moment? It was a grim experience travelling from there a couple of years ago

They've got the queues sorted now. Nothing like it was.

Does anyone else remember having to go to the Indian embassy in London and endure the ordeal of queuing up for hours for a visa to get to Goa. When I first went in 2005, it was mandatory and an experience I won't forget.

Visited Goa couple years back on package with TUI with same flight from Manchester during Easter.
Flight and Hotel were excellent. local food dirt cheap.
Only downside was climate. extremely humid during evening and night. 35+ c during day.
