Great deal. I bought £909 256 GB one for £60 difference. It tracked at £15.15. I'm hoping it'll correct soon
    BenJDeals's avatar
Please let us know if it does! I'd absolutely go for the 256gb if cashback tracks, no hesitation

I wonder if it would work for staff as the price is only £599 which doesn’t require a code… my guess is that they would just decline even though there’s no terms to say it would be exempt. As that would mean getting the phone for £299

    I bought through an employee account.trackrd 9.98

Treat cash back as a nice bonus don't expect it that way you won't be too disappointed if it doesn't pay out. In other words consider this phone will cost you £849 with the potential of up to a £300 bonus you just have to ask yourself if you'd be happy to pay £849 for the Pixel 8 Pro. (edited)

I'm real tempted to order this. I wonder how long it will take for cashback to track, and whether you could return the phone if it didn't
    JoShmo's avatar
You won't get it within 14 days if that's what you're asking.
  5. morfinel's avatar
Two miracles need to happen, one is that they will eventually track to £300, and the second that they will actually pay.

3/5 star review with lots of unhappy people.........

    AVOID AVOID AVOID.

    Well, mines tracked already.

Upto refers to there being a different amount depending if you have a plus or standard top cashback account.

I've had over £2k back from top cashback, the only thing I had any issue with was a purchase from Microsoft where there was a debate about exclusions (went through employee discount and tcb) (edited)

How does this work?I have ee employee account. For me pixel 8 pro is available at 599 without any voucher/coupon. So on top of that am I eligible for 300 more? That's 299 for this phone.Impossible to imagine.

I'm a big fan of Topcashback (over £8000 paid out by them to me) and I've ordered a couple of Pixels with this cashback deal - but even I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance that EE actually pay this cashback to TCB, and therefore not a cat in hell's chance that they pay it out to me...

Agreed. this will end badly for a lot of people. The phrase “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” comes to mind. Hope EE have a good return policy.

Tcb only showing as £255 for me
    Jimolya's avatar
    £255 for Classic members
    £300 for Plus (edited)

Come September this phone will be this price without cash back. Always wait a year before buying tech. My pixel 7 was £330. Tbh think I will go for the s24 next January.
    rodman's avatar
    Always wait a year
  11. towser44's avatar
Mmmm, tempting, over the years I've used TopCashBack I've had £1,217 cashback paid out, but, I've also had £517 declined, so it is a risk :-(
  12. wakkaday's avatar
My cash back did not track . This could be an ee tcb scam
    LeeFauxe's avatar
It's probably one where those who track or not is a lottery.

    Seems good!
  14. Bjones_98's avatar
How is EE return policy? Can you use the phone and still get a refund?
    Lokomokos's avatar
They will refund you but you pay for returns about £5

Anyone know if the dropped calls issue has been fixed? The camera looks amazing but don't want to deal with dropped calls!
    Iamlegend1981's avatar
I'd imagine drop calls are network, not device.

I have after thoughts now if it would be better to get Honor Magic V2 for £748. Any ideas?
    Shrinkwrap's avatar
No contest it's the Magic V2 all the way.
  17. LeeFauxe's avatar
    Too risky with the wording
  18. KevinGiffard's avatar
Anyway to get 0% finance over 24 months on this

Wow fab deal, got the cashback tracked
    atbalfour's avatar
    At what amount
  20. biggiecheese's avatar
would it work on the used phones EE sells? TCB says "any" pixel

I understand that the iPhone is a completely different market for people who want risk free tech, but when you see deals like this it really puts into perspective that the 60hz iPhone 15 is over £100 more expensive in another deal and is way hotter to boot.

If you can get the cashback to track it's an amazing deal. Even better than the prices on eBay new by about £50, with the benefit of actual warranty with a legitimate store and no risk of it being insurance blocked.
    fishmaster's avatar
An iPhone uses iOS of course. So if you want Facetime/iMessage and Apple apps then you need an iPhone. It's not a straight forward comparison to Android phones. Regardless of the hardware comparison someone needing these features won't be choosing a Pixel 8 Pro because it doesn't offer them as with all other Android phones. Including Nothing 2. (edited)

I would need balls of steel to rely on cashbackand go for this deal. Reviews for ee on tcb doesn't look promising.
    JA2018's avatar
I was going to go for it but thinking the same . Too risky to rely on tcb
  23. DealTron's avatar
TCB reduced to 255 on this and 175 on P8.
    Lowneo's avatar
Those prices are if you're not TCB premium.

    - can you help put people’s mind at rest here? Looks like a lot of people want to take up the deal but aren’t confident enough to do so. Myself included.

EE store people respond in 16 hour SLA window, dont think a confirmation can arrive today😃

I have finally taken a risk and ordered one with 256GB storage. Cashback is also tracked as £15.15. Now I will have to wait for the cashback if it uplifts to £300.
  28. Lowneo's avatar
Taken the risk and gone for this deal also. Ordered at about 10:45pm, got an e-mail to say it’d tracked on TCB at 10:53pm

The only thing I’m worried about is I used PayPal and their “Pay in 3” option. It’s showing the full purchase amount on TCB though, so can’t see it being an issue.
    karanbajaj90's avatar
    Pay in 3 wont impact
  29. leopard80's avatar
Received email in the morning saying the payment has been declined, and I will have to place the order again.
But when I placed my order last night, everything was OK and payment was accepted.

I think I should have paid via PayPal.
