I guess people are okay with running Windows unactivated?

These $10 keys from third party websites are almost always in contravention of the licences but you just get shouted at for pointing that out.

B550, 5600X, RX 6800 (or similar), 1TB NVME, 16GB 3200 CL16 is the absolute minimum in 2024 that can be called "gaming", and 1080p at that. Problem is that would cost nearer £800.

Watch the CPU review below, it should never have been made it is that bad.

Depends on what you want to play on your pc, a lot of people only play esports or low requirement titles and with these specs will be a good experience, and definitely can be called ‘gaming’. While I agree the CPU is a bit faff it will be fine and compromises have to be made in these budget systems.

If it was like B550 and ryzen 5600X in that rig at this particular price point it would be arguably a decent deal.

Isn't the 4500 ryzen the one out of failed ps5s, I watched a YouTube about these the other night and the guy had a lot of trouble with stuff not running and crashing so do your homework.

Any deal out there with i9, 8 cores, 64gb of ram?

If you have another pc with windows, log in this and import the activation code, and you can probably keep using the old pc too.

Would this be capable of streaming while gaming with OBS without freezing etc?
    TCMoneyy's avatar
Yes, you probably wouldn't get 120fps+ if you did stream @ 1080p60fps in AAA titles. Probably have to settle for 80-100 if streaming.

The 4500 is PCIE3 only to the express port. Something to consider with modern GPUs. There is a differing performance hit on some cards. (edited)

Regarding the os if you have a digital license you can transfer it from one system to another.
