sorted byI have an 8 channel system, with 4 external camera's (end terrace & garage). All cameras are fitted to the external wall just under the roof soffit boards. I have the PoE cables trailing up in the loft space, and routed them all to a single entry point, feeding into the NVR system.
You would just need to assess the areas, and think how to run the cables. Once you have that idea in your head, then it's pretty straight forward.
I can see the photo above, with the cut out plasterboard - he has a Reolink PoE doorbell, and has ran the cable behind the plaster board wall, for a neater install. (edited)
