About this item
  • FULL COLOR NIGHT VISION WITH SPOTLIGHTS: This IP PoE camera outdoor enables you to view clear images with brilliant colour in live video streaming and playback. When daylight is out, the RLC-811A security camera with built-in spotlights continues to record in full colour. This will bring more visual details that help identify people and cars than black-and-white videos
  • 4K ULTRA HD WITH 5X OPTICAL ZOOM: The IP PoE security Camera is with 3840x2160 high resolution. It is 1.6X clearer than 5MP and 4X clearer than 1080P. With 5x optical zoom, zoom in for a more detailed image, and zoom out for a wider view. The detailed information you see around your home or shop will be perfectly displayed by LiveView and playback
  • HUMAN/VEHICLE DETECTION WITH SMART ALERTS: This IP CCTV camera outdoor can identify people and vehicles in terms of their shapes, which minimizes unnecessary alarms such as animals or shadows. It can also specify the type of detection when sending motion alerts to you. You can know what happened by just glancing at the phone screen
  • FASTER & SIMPLIFIED PoE INSTALLATION: Thanks to the power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, this PoE IP camera can transmit videos and get power via only one network cable. You can install this security camera quickly and easily for a reliable connection (No Power Adapter Included)
  • TIME-LAPSE VIDEOS & MULTIPLE RECORDING OPTIONS: With time-lapse camera, you can keep tracking your 3D printing, see the whole construction process in a few minutes, or capture beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Videos can be saved on a microSD card (Up to 256GB, Not included), Reolink NVR or FTP server

I have Hikvision which is extremely clear even at night you can see things in colour and car registrations in low light

Here is a sample image from a "Hikvision DS-2CD3386G2-ISU(2.8mm)(C) 8MP 4K Turret Network Camera New AcuSense Technology with audio" taken at night at 12am

I like the Hikvision cameras a lot but the fact that they are Chinese state-owned puts me right off.

I'll have to find my settings , (it doesn't say anywhere or reviews ) that possibility you can have it costant colour even at night with that street lighting you have which inturn gives better frames per rate

PoE, so just a single CAT6 cable?
    flaming.h's avatar
My one has one lead from camera which then splits to three connections at about 25cm -power , Poe and other . I just use one cat 6 plugged in and use POE power supply 48v 0.5A Injector adapter UK three pin Wall Plug Power over Ethernet around £6-£10 eBay (edited)

Can it read number plate at 50m, even at an angle? I can with the naked eye, but can the camera? I need to snitch on some fly tippers.
    flaming.h's avatar
It can read them much further than naked eye

II have these TBH I rarely use the zoom but its a good camera they do a cheaper one without zoom. I use this with the nvr. I paid £87 2 years ago for this. I use the reolink mount to keep things tidy outside amazon.co.uk/gp/…164 (edited)

Wish I'd have seen those a few years back when I put mine up on the walls.

I’ve had Reolink for almost 3 years. Top one is RLC 811A and bottom is RLC 1212A. Both good cameras with no subscription

You are not selling this product very well.
these images are very low quality compared with other cameras.
yours is a wired camera!!? Shocking. It’s time you upgrade your security to get crisper and clearer images for your peace of mind.

Excellent picture even colour at night, in very low out side lighting out of window with changing settings, I switch the lights off on camera to not get window reflection (as I don't need security light but it is very bright if required) I record continuously with using larger micro sd approx 14 days (edited)

Review Yt but no one has realised or shown without using spot light and changing settings you get full colour in low level outside light which then shows far superior video than he's showing also with my settings it doesn't lower the frame rate at night which in the video review it does which lowers quality seen there .. Vs reolink cx410?

Also is it just me or do optical zooms actually work okay on reolink? Or just very slow? (edited)
    flaming.h's avatar
A second or two to zoom initially depending on distance , I haven't cx410 but watched reviews looks good , but I cannot fault one listed here

Thanks OP. A 5x optical zoom is an amazing feature. You don't need to change it once set, but it provides options to view a small region or centre on a far away building and then just leave it. I have a 3x optical zoom trained on my garden shed from the house.

I bought a set of RLC-812A with the NVR but it seems to have no night vision without the spotlight whereas these seem to have it? If I wanted to swap them out for these would it be easy? Because mine came with the NVR they might be linked to them.
  13. blowy111's avatar
Easy, delete from NVR, add these. Same for App on phone. these have connections for both POE and power adaptor (but i cant remember if mine came with one or not, but should be same as 812 anyway if you are not using POE). These are far superior and have the reconition. I have security lights via Home assistant using the reolink integration. The lights only come on once the AI spots a person and not for spiders, rain etc. Extremley reliable way of handling lights and great cameras. (edited)
