I had a play with the X9 and it's a nice tablet and feels very good in hand. But what I didnt like was the stutters in the UI even though it has 120hz. So either the OS needs more optimising or the SD685 doesn't have horse power to drive the 120hz screen.
The A9 doesn't have 120hz but I bet with higher performing SOC it will run a lot smoother

So on one hand you have a quality feel in the hand with a poorish performing SOC & software package.

    Vs

    Extremely long software suppprt.
    A very long Warranty.
    Smoother UI with more performance.

I suppose it will depend on who is using it and for what purpose.

Thats interesting to hear. I wonder if anyone has either of these tablets and a Lenovo M11 - they sound like a really good piece of kit but rarely dip to the £150 mark (I missed out last time)

With 4GB of RAM it’s basically an Etch-a-Sketch. My Tab S7 with 8GB and an 865 (which is still significantly faster than the Helio G99) bogs down very easily so I can only imagine how the A9 would perform.

tabs7 is near 3x the price, ive been using the A8/4gb for a year, no problem, just set up a clients A9/8gb and it was nice and fast....cant see why people are complaining....

    Honor
    Etc
It keeps the MSRP down on entry level tablets (edited)

This or a tin of Dulux paint?

I think watching the paint dry would be more enjoyable than using this

    Screen resolution is absolutely awful

I just want a reliable smaller tab for work Excel spreadsheets, a few other productivity apps. Mixed reviews of it on here. For ~£100, I would never expect retina display-resolution or 4k video recording, but can anyone vouch for it being a good workhorse?

I guess this obvious question would be, how does this compare to tablets like the Honor X9?

**edit** cancel that! The op initially put the specs for the A9+, and after looking at this tablet, it's not really comparable due to its size (edited)

Honor x9 all day every day

    This or Lenovo M8?

This one has far better performance. The M8 is not a great tablet. The M9 is a better comparison.

    Hi
I just bought a Samsung tab A7 lite. Does anyone know if the A7 is better than the A9 I don’t know much about iPads (edited)
    win26's avatar
The A9 is new and far superior than the A7 lite, being a replacement for it.
    It's not an iPad?

Hi. I got Lenovi Tab 3 , 10" screen for £90 at Very. I signed up to their credit deal to get discount but paid it off in one go.

Does anyone know what the extended warranty covers? I know Samsung do a 2yr accidental damage for £35 if you buy direct will this cover similar since its from Samsung via amazon or is it purely defect issues. my kids will end up dropping it a few times as is normally the case, but just wondering if anyone knew
