    Agree with other comments. Bought these on a previous deal. They are stupidly sharp and seem to stay so even under use. Ninja say they will need sharpening after two weeks, but I found they stayed more than sharp enough even after a month.

    Only negative is a design flaw with the sharpening function. The internal stone doesn't sharpen the blade all the way to the base, which means after a few years of sharpening, you'll see a bit of blade that is wider than the sharpened part. But I don't think this is a major issue, and shouldn't stop you getting them.

    Edit: Do not put them in the dishwasher. They will lose colour and affect the edge. (edited)

    Bought this last time the price went down. Best buy ever. Just be careful with the sharpness. And the block is a bit bigger than I thought, it can take a little too much space on the kitchen counter. Overall a great piece (edited)

    I have the 6 piece set and can definitely recommend these Ninja knives. Well Sharp, has a nice weight and I am happy to chop up anything using these. Accidentally cut a few of my fingers thinking I am Jamie Oliver using these also

    I always see people say the sharper the knife the safer it is to use. How are multiple people on here mutilating themselves

    A blunt knife requires more force. Therefore it's far easier for the knife to slip from whatever you're chopping and onto your fingers. Also a blunt knife will leave a nasty serated cut, rather than a clean cut, so will take longer to heal.
    Thats not saying you're never going to cut yourself with a sharp knife. But there's a big difference between an annoying little nick on the finger tips and a slice to the bone of the finger.

    The unique thing here is the sharpener included. Steel they are made of is x50 (from the info on the knives themselves and it's very unique as it's actually amazing that they make it from great steel but do not advertise it anywhere) And from reviews it's something decent. Despite having really good mix of knives like victorinox forged I got the 13 piece set ninja for 170 pounds and I'm amazed. (Just please don't put them in the dishwasher like any decent knife) (edited)
