Been waiting for a deal on a brushless combi drill, don't use the impact driver nearly enough to warrant this purchase, but now I've seen it.....

Having both a drill and an impact driver, even for occasional DIY, is such a game changer. Not having to swap bits out of the drill chuck constantly prevents so much hassle.

I use my impact driver for probably 90% of the jobs around the house that need some sort of screwdriver. Never had any issue with stripped screws, split wood etc, just make sure you use quality screws and the right bits

Honestly these are a game changer for even just a regular home DIYer, more than made up for the money I paid (edited)

Couldn't agree more. My DTD152Z just died, and I tried getting away with my combi drill putting up my gazebo, but my god it made me realise how amazing impact drivers are.

Would you say it will do good with DIY car repairs? I mean small jobs, not heavy stuff. But I have weak wrists and sometimes wish to have some help...

Yes, this would be fine for that. 'Semi-pro' level, more than perfect for DIY, probably want something with more torque for professional use.

Thanks for posting! I recently went for the more powerful DTD172. But at this price the 157 looks good
